Manifested But Unrecognized.  pt2

Continuing with our thought from last week let's look more at Christ not being recognized or understood:

JOHN 7:19-23
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

He's telling them they have no understanding of the law they say they keep. If they did, they would recognize Him making a man every whit whole on the sabbath. They would have recognized that what He was doing was just bringing that ritual to a greater understanding. Many times He did things they failed to recognize because they had no understanding of the Word that had come before. The disciples recognized the Christ but didn't fully understand how He was going to fulfill the scriptures. If they had, they would have expected the death burial and resurrection. Instead they saw Him die and began to doubt that He was ever the Christ. Doesn't that set the scene for today?

101 So they begin to get that, and troubles arose when they forgot about Him being there. So much talking about Him, and not recognizing Him being with them. I wish I had some way to nail that down. Look, they were talking about Him, but had forgot that He was laying in the very ship they were in.
102 And today, that's what's happened to the churches. We talk about Him. We have so much intellectual, till men are so trained to the Scripture, till they can bring a message that will... You can't lay a finger on it. But where is God? That's what I want to know. Where is that manifestation? See? Intellectual sermons!

Oh, don't the churches today have the message so lined up perfectly? But do they fail to recognize what it means? Are we still keeping days and rituals like the Pharisees were? Or do we realize the manifestation of the prophecy behind those church age rituals?!?

142 See these things happen, my dear brother, sister. When, God in Heaven knows I could die on this platform right now. You--you just ought to walk around a while. It's just... It's tremendous, when you see God come from the Heaven, stand before groups of men, and stand there, declare Himself just as He ever did. And that's the Truth, and this Bible open. See? Right. We're here.
143 And the denominational system is dead. It's gone. It'll never rise again. It'll be burned. That's what you do with the husk on the field. Flee from it. Get into Christ. Don't say, "I belong to Methodist. I belong to Baptist. I belong to Pentecostal." You get into Christ.
If you're in Christ, there's not a Word written in Here but what you believe It. I don't care what anybody else said. And then God makes that thing manifested. Cause, you, when He pours the Spirit upon the Word, what happens? Just like putting water on any other seed. It'll live, and It'll bring forth of Its kind.

Christ came back and layed out the Word for this day that would catch away His Bride.
Did you fail to recognize it? Or did you see that it was the Christ and fail to realize all that He done and is doing?

If you do not understand the mystery of the Godhead and the Christ of 2000 years ago then you will not be able to recognize the return of Christ in our day.
