Death and Life Chapter 2 Part 1

Precious Holy Father, we bow our heads again this morning, Lord, toward that dust that you took this old body from. We realize Lord, that we must humble ourselves in Your presence to ever receive anything because You're so great Lord, and so mighty, and so much higher than anything that You ever created Lord. And being all of that You decided that You would come down and become one of us, and fellowship with us Lord, and even have a body that would be sacrificed that we could have life and have it more abundantly. I pray Lord this morning that Your blessings would rest upon each one of us as we've assembled together. Let the sweetness of Your Spirit sweep through here like a river this morning. Let the Holy Ghost have the full right of way. We ask Lord, that everyone that's suffering among us this morning, would be healed by the mighty power of our almighty God. We know, Lord, that healing is in the atonement; it was paid for at Calvary. Just like salvation, it's just a matter of faith. We're saved by faith, we're healed by faith. We know that Lord. Let that faith operate among us Lord. Let it drop down in our hearts, Lord, this morning, that these things have happened. And if You were standing here, our prophet has told us that You couldn't heal us, but You would say that we're already healed. We're already saved by that that was already done Lord. And we know that we have to accept it. We ask that You'd speak to us this morning through that Word. We ask it humbly in Jesus' Name, the Son of Man. Amen.

Good to be here this morning. Good to have this privilege. Good to see everyone of you. It just... Had such a good time out here yesterday watching the brethren and got to have a good bit of fellowship with Brother T.B. and myself. We, you know, we just kind of stayed out of the way as much as we could and so we had a chance to do a lot of fellowshipping. And to watch the brethren, all of them come together and have such a, you know, determination to get these things done. It just blessed my soul to see so much cooperation among them, and all of them taking part, and I didn't hear one complaint. Seem like everything went so good and the food was good, and I really enjoyed that chili, and I like it hot, you know, and this was hot. I said, I believe they put a good bit of Texas Pete and I got to looking through there, and I saw some pepper in there. I said, this is not so much that Texas Pete as it's got hunks of pepper in it, you know, but it was good and I really enjoyed it. I ate two big bowls of that. And so they had plenty to eat, and everybody, after eating they had a little play session out there. And I stood off to the side and watched that, and I thought about how I used to like to do that, you know, and get in there and wrestle and I was just... It was a part of me. And so, I just enjoyed watching them. And I was hoping that none of them didn't get hurt, you know, because I have got hurt sometimes, you know. But it was really good, clean, and just a lot of fun. And I really enjoyed the day, yesterday.

Now, this morning, this is the second part of the series that I don't know where it will end. I really don't, because, as I told Brother Tiny back there awhile ago, he came back and he told me that he'd been setting up some things. The people had come forth and said that they would, you know, help transcribe these off of the tape and then got some proof readers. And I told Brother Tiny, 'What this is, it's in my heart.' And I want to, as much as I can, try to get over to the people that the Lord has put in my hands, here and India, or wherever, that might get the messages. I'd like to express what I see in this great plan of salvation. What I see, not what somebody has told me. But I want to express as much as I can, my feelings of what I see in the plan of salvation, and how that God has laid out His plan all the way through. And I just... Every time that the Lord would raise a little higher and give a little better revelation, you know, a further revelation of it, Satan would come up with, you know, another anti.

Now, Satan never does, just completely, come against the Word. That is not his method. He does not. He don't believe in that. See? It would be useless for him to come and tell you that Brother Branham was wrong, you know. 'Course, a lot of people believe that Brother Branham was, you know, anti and all of that. But now, to those that are professing to believe the Message, he's not going to come in that manner. You know. He's not going to do that. He will come with all of the truth, but, just one little bit. See? It'll be so close until it will be a deception. And just like Eve, you know. Of course, if you are elected to eternal life... This is one thing I want you to understand. If you were chosen in Him before the foundation of the world, you won't receive his lie. You will not accept it, because you were ordained not to do it. See? But what I'm saying is, the thing that's happening now is not in the Pentecostal age. It's not among the Pentecostal people. It's not among the Baptist, the nominal churches. That's not where it's at. The thing that's happening today; the deceitful work of Satan today, he's handling the Message. That's what it is. He's handling the Message to a point, and that's exactly what's happening. And so, that's what I want you to understand and to see. And I think most of our teachings on death, not only me, but I think most all of, all that I have ever read after, or heard ministers, it's strictly based upon physical death all the way through. I mean, that's where they place their emphasis, upon physical death. There's a place in Revelation; I didn't look it up, but somewhere where it's makes the statement something like this; '...that they are killed with death.' Is that right?

Now, so this morning I want you to look at something very seriously. There's got to be a reason for that to be said and Brother Branham commented on that. You remember that? All right. So spiritual death, by the term 'spiritual death', actually it don't mean that you cease functioning. It don't mean that they're going to take you out here and bury you. See? Spiritual death doesn't mean that. But spiritual death actually means that the end of that will be the physical death. See? In other words, physical death will follow that because in this thing that we have gotten into now and looking at Adam, the first Adam and seeing what has happened there to him and knowing that he did accept something.

And you can't find where Satan ever talked to Adam, but you can find the tool that Satan used. See? And I want you to follow this real close, now, because we really need to get all of the little keys to see these things, see. because he'll use everything that he can to get you to look at something a little different. See? Now he's going to get the thing, most of the time, that's closest to you, to get you to see that. Well there's not much closer to you than your wife. And that's exactly what he used. See? He used... See, He never brought one charge against Adam about Satan talking to him or anything. What was the charge He brought against him.? He listened to his wife. Now that's where something begin to change in him, when he listened to his wife. That's right. And you say, 'Well, I can show you where God told a man to listen to his wife.' That's true. That's right; but He didn't tell Adam to listen to Eve. That's what I'm telling you. He didn't tell Adam to listen to Eve. He told Abraham to listen to Sarah, and go ahead and do these things, but He didn't tell Adam to listen to Eve. Neither did He tell the church today, to listen to Satan. Amen. So we have got to take all of the Word. Amen. We've got to take all of the Word.

Things that we; and I'm not going to get on this, I'm just going to make a little simple statement. Things that we used to criticize other people about, I see them all everywhere around. See? We used to criticize people. When we'd go out in Mexico, we'd see, wrote across here; the Dallas Cowboys and all that stuff. Look out. Look at our young people. Look at them. They've got it wrote all over them. See? So, we owe an apology to them people out there, or we need to clean up. One of the two. Now, which one would you rather do? I mean, I'm telling you the truth, you owe an apology because we talked about them. We talked about them wearing, Brother Don, we talked about them wearing these things, you know. They put them out on display and we didn't think too much of that. Now we've got them right in our own ranks. See? That's what I'm talking about.

You see, you can go overboard with these things and when you start displaying something of the world, I'll tell you right now, you're putting more emphasis on that than you are on God. And I hope you don't get mad at me. I hope you'll take for what it's worth to you. But if I was you, I'd get shed of it. If I was you, young people, I'd get shed of it. I'd clean it up. Amen. I wouldn't have it. I wouldn't, I don't want to support nothing of the world. And you know these race tracks are nothing but the world. Amen. You know that. And all of these ballgames and things, it is not of God. You know it's not of God. And when you start pulling and projecting, and putting that out there, and letting the young people think it's alright for them to do that - you can't find that in the Message. That's right. So what I'm telling you is, that you had better wake up. If you don't, Satan'll do the same thing to you that he did to Eve. He'll whisper a little sweet thing in your ear and then it won't be nothing. 'Well that's alright.' And then the next thing you know, the videos brings on the movies. And then after... If you're going to sit in your home and watch one, you might as well go on out there and go to them theaters. I mean, you get a lot bigger screen. See?

O.K. I'm just telling you that God will not wink at ignorance. And we have been told these things. We have been told strong, of these things that are not a part of God. Amen. So now I am not in the position that I can make you do anything. I'm in the position that I can tell you that whatever you put on display, whatever you manifest, that's what you are. That's what you are. If you can't hardly wait to get out of this church to go and listen to some ballgame, or to go and run out there and listen to some race driver or something and project him out there, and put his number on your car and everything, there's something... You need to look close. You need to look at it. Now you say, 'Well Brother Holmes, you're identifying things.' I am. I'm identifying things with the world. You need to get out of it. You need to get away. It's going to get you. It'll get you, it'll choke you like Satan, that serpent will get right around, and he'll just keep choking, and after awhile, it's nothing wrong. I mean, go on out there, go to the ballgames. Go to the race tracks. Go do all of that stuff. For me and my house, we're not going to do it. I'm not going to do it. Brother Don, I'm not going to do it. For me and my house we're not going to do it. Amen.

Now I'm going to preach to you. I'm telling you the truth children. We're getting too slack. I mean... Hey, if it was wrong ten years ago, it's wrong today. If we catered to it ten years ago, and said, 'We need to clean up this mess, we need to get it out of our house, we need to not have it around,' then it's the same thing today. Amen. It's the same thing today. God has not changed. The people changed, and that's where the Spirit of God leaves us. Amen. That's where it goes, Brother Don. That's the reason sometimes we have to pray and pray and pray before we can feel the presence of God because we put too much of this worlds' stuff on the table. Amen. O.K. I'll tell you what. I just haven't got any time to support any of that stuff in any way. I don't... I'm not going to support it. I'm not going to support it in any way. I'm not going to advertise it for none of them. I'll advertise what I believe in. Amen.

And did we ever decide what time we're coming back here? Didn't mention it. Alright. Now we talked back there about how you all felt about it, didn't we? Now to me,. I can come a six, I can come at seven, I can come at four, I can come at three, I can come when you want to. But now last week I heard several of them say that they really liked that, that they come back at four o'clock, and they got out early. Now we can't do that every time, because some of them, maybe working, and they can get in for the message, you know. So we wouldn't want to cut them out of the message. Six o'clock... You know, we have been starting at six. Now if you want to start at four o'clock, we can come back and start at four: and that suits me fine. But I mean... I can't speak, you know, for all of you people. Now. How many of you'd just like to come back at four o'clock, and finish? (Congregation gives a show of hands to Brother Holmes' questions.) Alright. Alright. Now, those of you that would rather come back at six o'clock? Well, alright. O.k. We got... Well alright. I'm going to tell you what's the truth, it's just about even. Alright. I didn't count them, but it looked liked it was just about even. Huh? (Someone in congregation suggests a time.) Five o'clock. Alright. How is that? Five o'clock? O.K. So, we'll come back at five o'clock this evening.

Alright. Now, I want to get in on my message. This morning we will deal specifically with this Bible right here, this Word of God. This evening, we will read some quotes to back up what we're going to talk about this morning. There's some things that we'll probably say this morning that might cause somebody to think, 'Well, Brother Holmes has gone off on the deep end.' But if you'll look at it carefully, you'll see that what Brother Holmes is saying is actually scriptural. It's backed up by the Word of God, both written, and spoken.

So you'll find that Brother Holmes... As long as you've known me, as long as I've been here, you have never known me to get out on a limb where I didn't have no way to get back. If I say something I got something to back it up. I've got to have something to back it up. That's right. Alright. So now... Because I'm not a prophet. I'm am not a prophet. If I was a prophet, I could say something; I wouldn't have to back it up. See? It's thus saith the Lord. But I've got to say what that prophet said. I can't go beyond that. See? I cannot go beyond that. That's what, that's actually what was told Joshua. Remember? Joshua, it was told Joshua, 'As I was with Moses so will I be with you' Now I'm not putting myself in Joshua's position. You understand that? Alright. Now I want you to understand that clearly. Alright. But what I'm saying is, that he was told to say exactly what Moses said. That's right. He was told to say exactly what Moses said. So that's what we have to be careful in what we're doing. Alright?

Now. When God made man, He made him in His own image, in spirit form. That's what He made him. Alright. So then He made him an animal body. Is that right? That's right. He made him a body out of the dust just like He made the horse a body. Just like He made the lion a body. Just like He made all the rest of them. Alright So, the body that man lives in is animal life. It's animal... That's what it is. Alright. Now that's... Brother Brother Branham said we're the highest form of animal life. Man. Alright.

So, the difference was; He put the spirit, the soul in a man. Alright. Now, the soul brings that man higher than the animal life, the animals out there. Alright. So man, being in spirit form, and next to God; in other words, being to a position where he could fellowship with God. Right? Adam did fellowship with God. Adam did walk with God. Adam did talk with God. Right? Alright. So now, in being in that position, God made man where he looks to... It's his instinct, it's man's instinct to look to a higher spiritual life to lead him. That's the instinct of man. That's why - you look at the heathen nations, they all have the same idea. They look to something higher than them to lead them. And so we are led by... Now man is spirit; his life is spirit. Right? Satan is spirit. Right? God is spirit. Right? So now, this man is under there, and so he's going to be led by one of those spirits. See? One of those spirits is going to lead man. Not both of them. He cannot be led by both spirits. He's got to be led by one of those spirits. See? Jesus said, I believe, in the 6th Chapter of Matthew, if I'm not wrong, just coming by memory, that 'we cannot serve God and mammon.' See? We serve one, we love one, we hate the other. That's everything about it. See?

Now. So we are trying to get these things established, because like I told Brother... I think it kind of; I seen Brother Tiny when I told him we'd be on this subject about a year. But he thought... I think he thought, maybe, it might be a week or two. But this is what I see. This is what I see that the Lord has shown me in the plan of salvation. And so you can't tell it in two months. You can't tell it in three months. I mean, if we come every night, if we come here every night, and had services here, if we had services here five nights a week, if we had five services a week, and I covered what I feel like that the Lord has laid upon my heart, it would take us six months to do it. I mean, like Brother Branham's talking about Job on the ash heap, you know. And He kept him up there so long, 'til people wanted to know when He was going to get him off the ash heap, you know. And so, it's something that the more you talk about it, the bigger it gets, and the more you talk, the bigger it gets. I mean, you can't... It's an endless thing. It's an endless thing. Alright.

Now, let us look now, at one thing that I feel like that people misunderstand.This Bible opens, to the best of my understanding, with two words. And that... I mean, you'll find it... Brother Branham said, 'Everything that began...' It began where? 'In Genesis.' Right? Alright. So in Genesis you'll find laid before us, life or death. So the Bible opens with those two words. Life or death. Now, if... say for instance; I can't have both of them. See? I can't have life if I've got death, and I can't have death if I've got life. See? You can't understand... You cannot understand the revelation of God, I don't believe, as is told through this Bible; through the Message unless you understand that there is an opposition to God, which is Satan. And that opposition is death. That's opposite of life. And those two have got to stand out all the way through the Bible. All the way through the Bible, those two words has got to make an impression on you, when you're studying the Word. It's got to do it. Alright.

Amen. So we find out now that we were all in this channel of death. Well where did we get that? How did we inherit that? We must have inherited it somewhere. Now Brother Branham preached a message one time, and what did he title that message? 'Condemnation By Representation', 'Condemnation By Representation.' So it simply means that when we are borned in this world, we are condemned to die. We'll absolutely have a penalty upon us when we come into this world. Death. And that's what Paul was talking about here, in the second Chapter of Ephesians. He said we all were in that category.All of us were in that mess. See? Alright. And then he told us how we come out of it. See?

So this type of death that entered Adam; it was given him by choice. See? In other words, when Adam was placed in a physical body; when his spirit and soul was put in a physical body, he was made a free moral agent. He had the right to chose which way he wanted to go. Amen. And every creature upon this earth, since Adam, has had the same thing. They've had that right to choose. You say, 'Oh well, if I was borned to go to heaven...' You watch that. The reason you say that is because that you want to take, you want to pass the buck. See? You don't want to take the responsibility, but the responsibility is ours. Amen. It's not Adam's fault whether we go to hell or not. See? We were represented there by condemnation because of what Adam done. But what we do, Adam is not the one that's to blame for that. The decision that we make is the same choice that he had. It's the same choice. We either make it good for life, or we make it bad for death. Alright?

Now, in Genesis 2:9, we find that this tree, of course in verses 16 & 17, the tree of Life, we know would have united Adam and God together. That's exactly what the Scripture said; 'to eat of that tree, live eternally.' See? Or to partake of that other tree of knowledge of good and evil, it would unite man with Satan. Is that right? That's exactly what the Bible said. See? You say, 'Well he didn't use that word unite.' Well Brother Branham did. Alright. So now, I want to tell you something, that's exactly what it is. You come in union with God by taking the Word of Life. That's the way you come in union with God. Thank God for the anointing.I really appreciate that. You know, I mean, when you say something; you know it's real, you can feel it. Amen. Alright. And then you come in union with Satan by taking the opposite. It don't have to be a lot. It just has to be one word. It... Just one word, but it separates you. See? The Word is actually a separator. Alright.

So now, we find we have here introduced, a two-fold death. Right? In other words we have a two-fold death. We have a spiritual death. We have a physical death. Alright. So now, this spiritual death; not too many people talk about it very often. See? But now when Adam did what he did, he actually turned the authority, like I said Wednesday night, he turned the authority that he had over to Satan. Satan took over all of the rule and the authority of the universe. He took all of that over. He took over all the kingdoms of the world, and all of these things. And, of course, God warned him before he did it, that this would happen. He told him. See? We've been told what will happen if we go this route, so we have no excuse. See? Alright.

So now. In Genesis 2:17 is where I believe with all of my heart, it is saying the same thing that was said in Revelation, that they throwed them, they were thrown into death, and were killed by death. Then, in other words, when a person receives the nature or a person has the nature of Satan, they are spiritually dead. They are spiritually... Colossians told us that. They are spiritually dead. Alright. So now, if they are spiritually dead, then what is the end of that? We find that 930 years after the spiritual death of Adam, finally natural death took him, 930 years later. Amen. See? But nothing changed. See? God had spoke and it was that way. So, we see this is a two-fold death. The very moment... The very moment, now this is a touchy thing, and I'm going to walk very softly in it. The very moment that Adam listened to his wife over the Word of God; the very moment that he did that, something begin to change in his spirit. That's right. He begin to change. Well he did not die physically like people thought. Or like... maybe somebody would have thought, 'in that day you would die.' See? He didn't do that. See? Alright. But this spiritual death came to him first. The spiritual death was put upon him first. And then, of course, when... at the end of the manifestation of the spiritual death brings on, actually, the physical death. It actually destroys you.

Say, how many of you knows Satan is a destroyer? How many of you know that that's what Brother Branham taught when he preached the message, 'Power of Transformation,' and 'God's Power to Transform'? See? Alright. So we know what he is. Physical death is actually a manifestation of the spiritual, and then after man has died spiritually, like Adam did, then of course, his body becomes under subjection to that spirit. Now listen. Brother Branham taught clearly that it wasn't your body that died. Talking about the change. It wasn't your spirit that died. It was the nature of the spirit, the nature of the spirit. Alright. So then that nature of the spirit is where the problem is. If you're not... If it's not the Spirit of God, it's not the nature of God. Alright. So then, if we have this nature of Satan, then we are doomed to death spiritually and physically, and then of course, we have another death. There's three deaths spoken of. Spiritual death, physical death, and the second death. Right? Alright. All of that is found in the Bible. Alright.

Spiritual death - at the very moment that Adam listened to his wife, before he ever done the act. When Eve listened to the serpent before she ever carried out the manifestation of it, she already had sold out. See? And before Adam ever had this relationship with his wife, when he listened to her, when he accepted what she said, that's where he died, right there. That there is where it happened, right there. See? And then it become a universal thing. See? All human race is identified with what Adam did right there. All of us is identified with that according to what Brother Branham said. And then we are identified in this spiritual death that Adam received or accepted by, you know, turning away from the Word of God. And him being the head of the human race, you know, naturally, of course, we are condemned in this thing.

But now, see, where Adam failed was, he did not accept the responsibility that God had given him. See? And that's where people fail today. They do not accept the responsibility. We say, for instance, Brother Don, he's fixing to go to India. Alright. Now. He's going to leave orders with these boys, what to do while he's gone. Alright. Now they have a responsibility to do what Brother Don said do. Alright. Now. They might say, 'Well, he won't know no difference, you know, we'll just do it this way.' You know? Or 'we might just not do exactly like... we can cut a corner here, we can cut a corner there. He won't never know the difference, or it won't mean that much to him.' It does mean that much to him. If he told you what he wants, that's what he wants. See? I've heard him talk about having people, you know, that knew so much and even though they knew so much, it wasn't the way that he wanted it done. See? I don't care how much I know, it's how much God knows. See? I don't care how much I think I know about the Message, and how much I can interpret the Word of God; what does God say about it? See? That's the thing. We cannot change God's Word. We cannot change God's mind.

We are going... We're in this thing and this is what I see. What I see is a watering down. It starts in the home, usually. That's where it starts. Right in the home. Allowing children to do and to venture a little bit more than where they are supposed to go. And then after awhile, you don't know where your children are. And after awhile, you don't know what they're thinking and what they're doing. As a matter of fact, you've got so much confidence in them, you don't believe they'd do anything wrong. The worst thing in the world you could ever do. Amen. That's right. Well, I hope you follow me, because I'm going to say it. Amen. I've got a responsibility. You've got a responsibility. Amen. And where Satan got Adam, was to get him to shirk his responsibility to God. And when he shirked that responsibility to God, he gave it over to his wife, and listened to her. Amen. Alright. So you see what happens. And then, of course, the spiritual death took place.

Now. This spiritual death, of course, brings about a nature. Is that right? How can I have spiritual death unless I've got a nature in there that is of death? Is that right? Well, Romans 5:12 tells us that death passed upon all mankind. How? Through one man's sin death passed upon all of us. Alright. Well, I hate to just take so much time to go into the Bible and read all of these, but I'm going to tell you where to read it, and you go and read it. O.K.? In Romans 5, Verses 17-19, you read there and you'll see through one man's disobedience, through one man's offense, through one man's disobedience, we were all made sinners. Everyone of us become sinners through one man's disobedience, just one man's disobedience. See? And all of us were made sinners.

In Romans 5:15 by the trespass, by one man's trespass, one man's disobedience, many died. See? Alright. Well, then the whole human race come under this spiritual death. Well, what is the spiritual death? Now that's a question that sometimes people don't know what spiritual death is. They don't understand what it is. Spiritual death is actually a substance; it's a force. Spiritual death is as much a substance as life is. Amen. It is a substance. It is a fact. Amen. It's absolutely a fact. The difference is, that spiritual death comes through Satan. Spiritual death comes through Satan and Life comes through God. Alright. Satan was originally in heaven. Is that right? And he was next to the throne of God. Amen.

So that's when he made his mistake. Alright. So, you say, 'Well, how did he do that?' Well, when it come into his heart, that he wanted to overthrow God, that he wanted to take the place of God, he wanted to be greater than God. Then, he was not created that way. Is that right? Now listen to me children. Satan was not created that way. Satan was created a beautiful God-fearing angel; worshiping God. Is that right? Amen. Well what happened to him? When he got jealousy in his heart. See? Then he wanted to be over God. See? And when that happened, something started to change in that spirit, Satan. And where Satan was a follower of God, he begin to become the opposite. See? And he become an enemy to God. See? He was not always an enemy to God. See? Amen. So then he become an enemy to God. Alright You say, 'Well I don't believe that Adam ever become an enemy to God.' Well, how in the world did he ever become a sinner without becoming an enemy to God? Why did he run and hide? Huh? Why did he run and hide himself?

See, watch. Now. So then, everything that was good in Satan turned to things that were evil. You say, 'Well is that true?' Alright. Let's watch. There's two spirits in the world. Right? Alright. Now watch. From one of those spirits we see love, joy, faith, and good. Right? That's the Spirit of God. Alright. From that other spirit we see a contradiction of that. We see hatred. See? Alright. We see - instead of joy we see sorrow. Instead of faith we see doubt. Instead of good we see evil. Alright. So they both... See, now both of these things cannot come from the same spirit. You can't get bitter water from a clear, clean fountain. See? And you can't get sin from God. It's not there. See? Amen. Alright.

So then, the nature of Satan reigns from the time of the fall, from the time that Adam listened to his wife, the nature of Satan reigned in the human life. Alright. That's exactly the truth. When spiritual death entered the life of Adam, his spirit went through a change. Just like the spirit of Lucifer went through a change when he come against God. When he come against God his spirit begin to go - backslide, backslide, backslide. Alright. And when we begin to take on a little bit of things of the world, we begin to backslide. You don't backslide over night. Amen. You backslide over, you cool off. See? You cool off and then, I mean, where you were once red hot, and warded off everything of the world, and stood as a guard, would not let that thing come around. Then after awhile it don't seem... I mean, you let one little drop come in. See? And then another one. See? And then after awhile that heat begins to cool, cool, cool. And then the first thing you know, what's happening to you?

I talked to a preacher one time, a Message preacher. And I carried him to a service. I kept on after him 'til he went. Because what I saw in this man was what I felt like that we needed. I saw that he had something. And I followed this man as long as he stayed with the Word. Amen. But when he left the Word and said Cush was conceived back there by a serpent seed, then I left that man right there and stayed with the Word. Amen. But that man, as far as he went with that Word, brother, you couldn't nobody touch him as far as a teacher. I mean, he could make it so real to you. Amen. And so, I... it was so real to me, I wanted this preacher to go and hear it. And so, he told me out of his own mouth. He said, 'I've been...' - after he heard the messages and he come up to the alter and repented, he said 'I've been backslid for 12 years.' A Message preacher. You can backslide and still keep on praying. Still keep on studying the message. Still keep on preaching. Amen. As cold as a cucumber. You've got to keep on fire. You've got to let the things that once were sin, still be a sin. Amen.

That's where Adam made his mistake. See? He listened to his wife. Alright. So now, spiritual death. Now I'm not going to say this morning... Are you listening? I am not going to say, point blank, that Adam was borned of Satan. I'm going to refrain from that statement, but I'm going to say this. And you search through the Message and see what it means. I'm going to say that he accepted the nature of Satan, in his spirit. Amen. He certainly did. He accepted the nature of Satan when he listened to his wife, because that's what God held against him. God held against him. He said, 'Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, the ground is cursed for your sake.' I heard some of the brethren talking yesterday about when that cleansing comes upon the earth, then there won't be no more thorns and thistles. What brought those thorns and thistles? Disobedience to God's Word. Disloyal to God brought those things upon the face of this earth. It's got to be destroyed. Everything has got to go back to where it was. It's got to come back to the beginning. Amen. Alright. So now, let us look close. So now you understand that I did not say that he was borned of Satan., but I did say that his spirit went through a change. His spirit went through a change.

Alright. Now. What dominates the spirit? The soul. Well what is the soul? The soul is the nature. Right? Alright. Now what if it's the nature of Satan? Where did it come from? It come from Satan. It didn't come from God. See? The nature that the spirit of Adam took over, did not come from God. Now I'm going to tell you something else, and you listen carefully. The soul, the spirit that comes into you, that come into you when you were borned in this world was not given by God. That's right. No sir. He could not give you a spirit that is already married to Satan. He couldn't do it. So what did He do? He allowed that. He allowed it to happen, but He didn't give it. No sir. God does not give stuff like that. What God gives is true. Amen. It's Holy. It's clean. Listen to me! Amen. He did not... When you were borned in this world, He did not give you that spirit that come into you that was already attacked by Satan, and already had become one with the nature of Satan. He allowed it to go in there. Amen. Alright. So now you see what we're talking about. Alright. So now, let's us go on now, a little bit farther. In Romans 5:21, sin reigned. When? After the fall. Let's look in Romans. Alright, 5:21:

So now in there, there was spoken and I'm taking the next five or ten minutes here, and then we're going to come back this evening and we're going to get into some quotes. But in the next five or ten minutes here before twelve o'clock, let's look at this now. In Genesis 3:15, we find where that there was a statement that was a prophecy that was made. Alright. That prophecy was that 'the woman would have a seed.' Right? Alright. So she does not have a seed. She doesn't have a seed, so she has to have a seed given to her. Alright. So now, Satan was standing there and he heard that. He heard that prophecy. Satan did. So he started trying to ward off all the way through. Alright. So God merely spoke a prophecy. The seed of the woman is against you, serpent, and you're against the seed of the woman, but they didn't know who the seed of the woman was. See?

Now. We get so picky sometimes about the human race and try to make all kinds of divisions, you know, between them. So then, God reaches way over and He pulls Rahab, pulls Rahab, the harlot, off of the wall, and marries her to a General of an army of the Jews. That's right. And then, He starts a little thing going, Brother David. The Gentile and the Jew. So then, way down in Moab, there's a little girl down there by the name of Ruth. Huh? And God already, before the foundation of the world ordained that little girl to come along. So He sent a famine in the land, and He caused the kinfolks of this great man that owned so much, and was able to set the debts of them free... He caused the kinfolks of this man to go down into Moab. And then He caused one of his sons to marry a Moabite, both of his sons to marry those moabite women. Alright. So then the boys moved off the scene. They died. Things got to looking better up in the country. Now it's time for things to start moving. See? He's going to move another step in this great plan. See? So things start moving a little bit better and so Naomi's husband died also. So she goes back; she starts back to her home country. Amen. And so Ruth said, 'I want to go with you.' So did the other one want to go, but you know, she couldn't make... she couldn't pay the price, so she turned back. Twins. See? Alright. But now then, Ruth said, 'Your people will be my people. Where you live, I'll live, and where you die, I will die.' It's got to be on those basis. See? Alright. God worked this plan, Brother David, to take them down there, to get this little girl to bring her out to marry Boaz. Huh? Another mixed marriage. Are you listening? Amen. Another mixed marriage, and then, we find that another revelation broke through, or a furtherance of the revelation. Now this seed of the woman is going to be the son of David. Right? The son of David. Oh my! And see, he had to bring it all the way around to get all of this in the natural, so that he could include the Gentile Bride. See? And now, if you'll look close you can see how God has moved every step. Every step He's moved, He has brought it a little closer, a little closer. Then we see the Son of Man. The son of Man. What does it mean? It means to be identified with the human race. The Son of Man. Identified with the human race. See? God come down in human flesh and He was called the Son of Man. Amen. And so... then getting a little closer, and a little closer all the time. Back to the human being. Amen.

Don't you love Him? Don't you appreciate Him? Alright. If the sister will come, and we'll come back at five o'clock. Is that alright? At five o'clock we'll come back now, and we're going to look into some quotes now. And so remember, Brother Branham, as far as I can see, he never said that Adam was borned by Satan. I never found that, so I didn't say that either. So... but Brother Branham did say that through Adam death come to the human race. He did say that. Alright. And through the seed of the woman, Life comes back. Amen. So now we know, that death come through Adam. Alright? The first Adam. Now the second Adam had to come, had to come by a woman that actually had a virgin mind. You understand what I'm saying? Her mind had to be completely virgin. What is a virgin mind? Alright now... Excuse me sister. Alright? Now look. If I'd been sitting over here in the Baptist church. If I'd been sitting over here in the Pentecostal church, and I'd been endoctrinated with everything that they, you know, that they teach and everything. That's not a virgin mind. No. See? When I... now see, I'm all cluttered up and everything. See? But she hadn't been cluttered up. Her old mama told her, her old dad told her... Look. And you see what God done, He provided this.

In the original translation where Isaiah said, 'A woman shall conceive...,' it said 'the' woman. Why? Because it was the one that God had hand-picked before the foundation of the world. Are you listening? This ought to make every one of us rise from our seat, and shout and raise our hands and say, 'Lord, we know that everything that's ordered is in Your plan. Amen. Why, He saw her... And Brother Branham said that Word went forth and went around and around and around and around, until that little girl come on the scene. And one day she was standing out there, and it was time. And here come the Angel, and said, 'Hail Mary, you are blest among the girls. See? You are... you have been chosen for a special thing.' Amen. And then give her something so hard she couldn't unravel. See? Amen. That's exactly what He done to this little Bride. See? He said, 'You're chosen to receive the message of the Seven Thunder Mysteries.' And then give her something so hard she can't hardly swallow it. But if she is the real genuine, she'll say 'Let it be unto me according to Thy Word. Let it be unto me according to Thy Word. Regardless of what it is, regardless of what it brings forth in my life, let it be unto me according to Thy Word.' Amen. And stand right there. And that's what she did. And the first thing you know she was pregnated, without a man. Amen. Just by the Word of God. Amen.

So, what did the prophet come for? He come to introduce the Bride to the Groom. Amen. So he wouldn't have to... So then the seed... if... if... Oh boy. Now listen. And I, Brother Tiny, I told you I don't want to get ahead of myself, and here it goes. You see now, you have to be careful. Alright. When you've got a series of messages coming, and when the anointing comes, then it just keeps on going out there, out there. See? Out there. See? But you know, when this thing happened... ?... knew all the time that He was going to have a little Bride. Amen. And I'm easing right off of it, you see. And I'm not going to get into it. Alright. But I'm going to just tell you that He had a Bride in His mind. This Bride was already in Him; in His thoughts. This Gentile Bride, amen, was in His thoughts. And so, what He done; He made all of the provisions for her before He ever called her. See? Before He ever manifest Himself to her. See? Alright.

So now, when you see... When this prophet come along with the Word, that Word that he had was the revealing of the Son of Man. Is that right? The revealing of the Son of Man was that Word. So now, watch. What is the Son of Man? The Word. Alright. The Word made flesh. Is that right? The Word made flesh is the Son of Man. Alright. So now, what the prophet done; he come revealing that Word. See? Alright. And then, what does the Bride do? The same thing that Mary done. See? She takes that revelation. She takes that revelation, and she becomes pregnant with the Word. With the Word of God. Alright. Now. That Word of God that she becomes pregnated with, it begins to manifest itself. And when it manifests itself, what does it do? Brings the same thing that it did from Mary. It brings the Son of God, the Son of God. Is that right? Through what? Through a predestinated Bride. See? God called you before the foundation of the world to receive this Message, and that's the reason you received It. And nobody else is going to receive It. And like... I'll tell you, I don't know how long I'll be on this, but anyway, we're going to...

Let us stand. Amen. May God bless you this morning, and let His love rest in our heart, so that we won't have no hard feelings, never, toward nobody, and that our heart will be so in tune with Him until we will be ready. Lord, let it be according to Your Word. Let it be according to Your Word. Let it be according to Your Word. All the way through, let it be according to Your Word. Amen. And don't back up on it. When it comes hard, Brother Winston, just like things that you're going through right now, let it be according to God's Word. He said, 'All things work together for good to them that love the Lord, to them that are called according to His purpose.' And we'll stand on that, won't we? We'll stand on that, and we know that God will never leave us.He'll never forsake us. He'll go with us. How long? All the way, even to the end of the world. 'To Be Like Jesus.'
