Death and Life Chapter 5

Let us bow our heads. Precious Lord, we deem it such a privilege this morning to be able to bow our heads in your presence. Thanking you, Father, for another opportunity, for another privilege, Lord,that You’ve given us to come and gather around the Body Word of the Son of Man and be able to feed our souls, Lord, and get us more established in the faith in the way we ought to be, Lord. Knowing that every Word that You’ve spoken it has to come to pass. There’s not one jot or one tittle will ever fail. We know that heavens and earth will,but not your Word, Lord. And I pray that you’d help us everyone to climb a little higher this morning and reach up, Lord for just a little more of that understanding of the revelation of Jesus Christ for this day. We pray, Lord, that You’d work among us this morning, the Holy Spirit and let the Word find It’s place in the hearts of those that have been elected, Lord, to receive it. We pray now, Lord, that Your mercy would be extended to those that are sick and suffering. Grant to them, Lord, that they might have healing for the glory of God. We ask these favors humbly in Jesus Name the Son of Man. Amen. Amen.

You may be seated. So good to be with you this morning and to have this privilege to stand here again. Brother Tiny was talking about the little ordeal we had Friday night. It just started on us Thursday and then we got real staggery and we just got to the point to where I fell one time, Brother. I got up, you know, and I started to take a step and I just - I mean I went down. I lost all my balance. Did you ever do that? You have. Alright. I guess that goes along sometimes with getting a little older. I don’t know, but anyway then on Friday morning I had a lot of hurting in my arms and in my shoulders. And then on up in the day and over in the evening it got worse. It got to hurting in the back of my neck and down, you know, and it got pretty severe and so Darlene called the cardiologist and they decided that it would be best if I went on and had an evaluation, you know, to see what the problem was. So we went over, I guess we got there about 9:30, Friday night. We didn’t say anything about it because I didn’t know what the problem was. I didn’t know how it was going to turn out. And I wanted to know something before I let anybody know anything, see. And so, we just kind of kept it to ourselves. And then, of course, there was a couple of calls come in after I left and then Sister Yeargin was with the children there and naturally she told them where we were. And then I was glad to see the deacons coming in, all three of them, they were coming in there except Brother T.B. and he didn’t know about it. But the ones on this area all three come in and I was glad to see them, because they heard what the doctor said.

They took a cardiogram and then they had... Two cardiologist was there. One of them come in and he said, “Well,” he said, “what about this? Have you had any numbness in your hands or anything?” I said, “No, I hadn’t had none of that.” He said, “Well, have you had any nausea?” I said, “No.” “Any Sweating?” “No, I haven’t had any of that.” “ Well, let’s see just squeeze my hand a little bit.” So, he put his hands in there and I shut down on it and he said, “Oh!” He took my hands and he said, “What about just pull on me,” you know. I just pulled him over on top of me. Then he said, “Well, now,” he said , “now push a little bit.” And so I pushed him. He said, “Ain’t nothing wrong with you.” Then, you know, they took an x-ray of my chest and took the blood work and all. The brethren was there to stay with Darlene while I was having all this done, you see. And I was really glad that they come up there and she didn’t have to sit there by herself, because they probably wouldn’t have let her went with me. But anyway, when the main cardiologist come in, Brother John, he looked at me, he said... He examined me and went over me, you know. He said “You’re a healthy man.” I said, “Thank you.” They heard that. They heard him say that. He said, “You’re a healthy man.” He said, “It is probably a little muscle spasms or something you know, where I got out there and pulled on that old wire, trying to put up some. Me and Brother Andrew and Brother Adam, we was trying to put up a little wire down there and we strained a little bit and done a little bit more than I should have. But, everything is alright. And so, I had a little bit of trouble yesterday morning when I got up and I got in my study. I just sit there so long, you know, in one position, Iguess, and my back and my neck started hurting again. And I got up and walked around a little bit and changed posture, you know, and got to moving around and all of that went and so I haven’t had anymore.Everything is alright. So, we’re not...Satan would love to stop this. But, he won’t be able to do it until God gets ready. That’s the thing. But I really appreciate all of your concern about me.

I got a little e-mail from Brother Don this morning. He’s created him a e-mail on his laptop now, so he can send a letter, send us a little report. He’s been sending Sister Rhonda one and she hasn’t been checking her mail, I think. So, he wrote me a letter. He said-he wrote me a little note said, “Praise the Lord, Brother!” Said, “I got your mail.” I wrote him one. “Glad to hear from you. Rhonda has not checked her e-mail in a couple of days. We had a good service in P. Daniel’s place and D. Samson’s this morning. All is well in the Lord. Greet the believers for us.” That was the essence of the note. He told me about creating the e-mail, so that he would have one of his own. He wouldn’t have to use somebody else’s and that’s good. So, all is well with him and everything is going good. He just finished up there at Brother P. Daniel’s place. And Brother P. Daniel died, passed away last year. Of course, we lost two last year, Brother P. Daniel and the brother from Nizamabad. I can’t think of his name, brother, now. But, anyway Brother P. Samson’s father. But, anyway, they’re going out. They don’t, you know, when they get sick they don’t have the facilities that we have. And there’s a lot of diseases going on over there. So, they don’t, as general rule, they don’t live too old, you know. They don’t live as old as people do here. It’s amazing to them to see me over there at 75, you know, moving around like I do, and doing the things that I do. They don’t have much of that over there. They usually go out a lot earlier than that. I forget what the death rate use to be, the mortality rate use to be, I think about average was about 45. And, so that means that a lot of babies don’t make it, you know. Of course, when your average life span is 45 in a nation that’s pretty low. You see, we’ve got it up here now to about 70. And so, I mean there’s a lot of difference.

Are you ready? Alright. Now, this morning, I know that we get a little late start, but that’s alright, but every thing will be... And I want to read or either quote three places from the Word this morning, from the written Word. First of all, we’re going back again... I told you we would be moving progressively, now, toward the incarnation. And so, we’re going to be looking at some things and what I want to do is to look at the way that Satan tried to stop this incarnation, and, because he knew that that would end him, if it happened. And so, he didn’t want this thing to happen. He didn’t want this Redeemer to come. He felt like He would and he didn’t want that to happen. So, he was going to try to stop it every way he could. Now, in Verse 15 of the 3rd Chapter of Genesis, we have the first prophecy of the seed of the woman, and I want to read it.

So those three verses, this morning is what we’d like to deal with a little bit, especially that Genesis 3:15. There’s a lot in there and I wanted to try, if I could in this message, try to also bring the quotes that I have this morning, too. Of course it may be this afternoon before we get done with it, but we’ll try to get this in if we can today, so you’ll have this message complete both my comments and the quotes. But we notice now this first prophecy that was mentioned of the Messiah, of the Redeemer, was made in the presence of the serpent. And, of course, we know that the serpent was Satan incarnate. We know that. He had Satan in him, and so Satan was hearing every thing that was said. See? And, after man had sinned or had fallen in the garden, he was without hope. There was no way that he could come back. Of course, you that are studying “The Breach Between” you know what Brother Branham said about that.

We got to listen to about an hour and twenty minutes of it last night in the family, and, it’s just a lot of good things. You just listen over and over and you’ll hear more and more and more. If you hear it one time, you think you got it. Don’t think you do, because if you hear it a hundred times and you think you got it, don’t think it. Because, if you go back and listen a hundred and one times, you’ll get something else out of it. It’s a Masterpiece. It’s so much. It had to be, because it was the Breach between the Church Ages and the Seals, and Brother Branham was bringing up things, and bringing up the Redeemer and telling about how that the Redeemer come and how that Satan tried to thwart every effort that would come forth to stop Him from being born. And so, we got some of those quotes this morning, but we’ll move on as quick as we can. But, as soon as this prophecy was made in the Garden of Eden, God immediately set out to bring redemption to man, to bring man back to God. And bring back it back on the basis where he could fellowship with God again. And, that was His whole reason for having a Redeemer was that He - the fellowship that had been broken between God and man, He wanted that fellowship back. And the only way that He could have that fellowship back was to bring back man on a equal basis where He could fellowship with him again and be His sons, see, and his daughter. And there was a whole need of it.

Alright. In this conversation, now, with Satan we have these things that God told him in Genesis 3:15. There’s four outstanding things there that I’d like to just mention to you. First of all, He spoke of the hiss seed of the serpent seed being at enmity with the woman, not with the woman’s seed, but with the woman. So we know then, that woman will never be able, for the thing that she done, she’ll never be able to get above man, even though she’s trying with every way she can. But, she’ll never be able to do that, because God didn’t allow that. He never will allow it, and He’ll destroy this world before it happens. I mean, she’s in control now as far as the political world and all is concerned, but He don’t intend for the woman, the by-product to rise above the product. And so, He will not allow that. Under no circumstances, He’s not going to allow it as a general thing as a whole. I mean He’s going to keep His Word in order, regardless of what happens in this world. So, the woman, of course, she’s in a place where that she can be a beautiful thing and she is a beautiful thing and she can be the thing that God made her for, if she wants to, or she can be lower than any dog or any animal that there is in the world.

That’s what Brother Branham said on “Marriage and Divorce”. He said she’s the lowest creature on the earth. And so, I mean, you got to admit what Brother Branham said. Satan took her and designed her and then you know, and so that’s exactly what happened. So, we notice that this enmity between the woman and the serpent was the first thing that God spoke of. Alright then, the second thing He spoke of, He spoke of the enmity between the serpent seed... Let’s see. He said, “I’ll put enmity between thou seed and her seed.” Alright. So, Satan’s seed is the unregenerate, not just Satan himself, but all of the unregenerate human race is the seed of Satan. See. Now, I don’t believe, and I know this is on tape and I know that it’s going to be put in print and I know that it’s going to probably cause a question with some of the ministers if they get ahold to it. See, I’m a question mark in their eyes anyway. And so, I just might as well say, there’s so many of the Message ministers today believe in the literal, physical serpent seed. I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that the physical, literal serpent seed in the physical form is here today. I believe that, in other words, I’m talking about the human being. I believe that it come back in seed of discrepancy. That’s exactly what Brother Branham said. He said He destroyed that in the flood. He destroyed all of it. And then, they’ll come back and say, “Well, it was brought over in the woman.” He didn’t say in the woman. He said in the women - in the women. He said, “Now it was brought back in the women because they were the by-product, they were the deception, the ones that was deceived and so forth.” And naturally that same thing, that same weakness was there and so in the serpent seed He referred it being brought back over in the woman.

Alright, but now then, if we’ll notice carefully, when he preached the message, “Seed of Discrepancy”, he told us that it started back in Cain. I mean it was in Ham, rather. It started back in Ham, which was one of the sons of Noah. And he said, that’s where the seed of discrepancy, that’s where the serpent seed started back on this side of the flood, right there in Ham. Alright, and of course, you know, Cush was the son of Ham, then Nimrod come out of that race, then the tower of Babel and all of those things began to happen. And then, the confusion of languages and getting them all out, all of those things taking place, it was the hand of God all the way through. If you ever just look at it, all the way through it’s the hand of God.

So now we find that the regenerate, the unregenerate human race is the seed of Satan. That’s the seed of Satan. Alright. Now, of course we know that the woman’s seed is Christ. Well, what is Christ? The Anointed. Right? So the woman’s seed is Christ. Alright. So now, from the time that Jesus was born until He was crucified, He was hunted, had to run for His life. Right? Satan was after Him, because he didn’t want to Him to get established and to... Mainly he didn’t want his dominion over the human race to be broken. And he knew that if that Redeemer come and if He was what God said He would do that would bruise his head, then something’s going to happen if he don’t get Him first, see. So, he’s after Him.

Alright, then so we notice here the third thing he said the seed of the woman, the seed of the woman... Now, I want you to notice that here. Of course this is a prophecy, that this woman is going to have a seed. Alright. We know what Brother Branham said the woman does not have a seed. So actually, Satan is sticking up on this and he knows and he realizes that this seed has got to come a different way from the way he injected his seed into the human race. So, it’s got to come a different way, because and actually it would be... When Satan got into the human race he got there without human instrumentality, see. He sneaked in there by the serpent. Alright. So then this Redeemer that’s got to come, Brother Richard, He’s got to come without human instrumentality. He’s got to come in there independent from any of the natural, you know, generation. He’s got to come different from that. Alright. So, we now we know that Satan knows that. Satan knows that something has got to take place.

Number 4: We find out that he shall bruise thy head and thy shalt bruise his heel. Alright. So now, we know that if you study the history and you look back in the oriental countries and all that “head” what they call “the head” of course, is the lordship, the leadership. And so, what this Redeemer is suppose to do is to destroy the lordship the leadership of Satan. He’s suppose to destroy that. That is - he’ll bruise his head. And then, of course, we know we must understand that the seed, of course, the heel that he’s trying to, the serpent is always after, Satan is always after the heel and naturally that’s the church that’s the children of God. That’s the righteous Seed all the way through. You go back and check all the way through. “And he shall bruise thy heel, and thy shalt bruise his head.”

Alright. So, the heel is the righteous Seed all the way through. We believe that with all of our heart. That Satan has been after that righteous Seed all the way. He’s been after the church all the way through. And so, knowing that somewhere he’s going to be stopped. I believe that with all of my heart. He’s kind of like Brother Branham said old turtle, you know. He said he cut the old turtles head off, went on dressing him. His brother come along and said, “Bill, is that turtle dead?” He said, “Why sure he’s dead.” He was dressing him, you know, getting him ready to cook. He said, “Well, he don’t know it yet. He’s still snapping.” See? But you see, that’s the way Satan is. He’s dead, but he don’t know it. See, he’s still snapping, but he’s just a squatter on the land now, see. His authority has been taken away. Amen. He doesn’t have that authority anymore.

Alright. So now, through the history we notice that he has been constantly on the righteousness Seed. So, the incarnate One had to come in order to destroy his authority, to take away his authority. He did that! He did that to those that are His. Amen. A person that is in Christ, a person that is born-again, Satan does not have any authority over that person. He doesn’t have any authority, any power. He doesn’t have any power over that person no more than what the person will allow him to have. That’s the only power that he can have over him. He can have power over his thinking, if he’ll allow him to, because he’ll try to steal your thoughts. He’ll try to get you to looking somewhere that you’re not suppose to and the first thing you know, you’ll be yielding to some of the things that Satan has got out there instead of walking after the Spirit. And so, that’s where Romans 8 really needs to be practiced, because we need with all of our heart not to walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit, because our minds need to be renewed. See? We need to have a renewing of the mind. If we can have a renewing of the mind, then we can think in a different term from what Satan tries to put into your mind and make your carnal thinking something what it oughtn’t to be, see.

And so what we have to do is to stay on our P’s and Q’s, so to speak, all the time, and in contact with God. We must be in fellowship with Him, constantly. We must be aware that He’s with every conversation that you have, He hears it. Amen. Every act that you do He sees it, see. So we have to understand and realize that the omnipresence of God is aware of every move and every act and every thought that comes upon our minds. And that is something that we must realize, that we are not... If we hide something from someone else it’s not hiding from God, see.

We’re just... It’s just like the housekeeper, you know, just lifting the rug instead of taking the dustpan and taking up the garbage, you know, off of the floor. When she sweeps she’ll sweep it under the rug, see. It’s there! It’s still there. She knows it’s there! See. Alright. But, you know, she can cover it up. And a lot of times people cover up a lot of things and other people don’t know about it, but God knows about it. So, this is the thing that we must understand, that He is the One that we have to do with. Alright. So now, I want you to notice that in Hebrews 2:14, we spoke of that the other day and I think we read that, I believe. And, I want to go back over there and look at it again. Hebrews 2:14 it ties in with something that we’re talking about here. Alright.

So, He had to take part. This Redeemer had to take part of flesh, so that He could suffer in flesh, so that He could die in flesh, so that He could rid the human race of that thing that Satan, that authority that Satan had upon Him. Break his hold, break his hold. Not just put him on the run, but kill him! That’s exactly what He does. In other words, when God comes into your life, He slays Satan. Satan is put to death then and he is not to come back in there no more because you are sealed with a seal of God and he cannot get in. He’s sealed out. Amen. There’s no way back in there. Amen. Study “The Breach” and see if Brother Branham didn’t say it. Amen. He said that he is sealed out, and you are sealed into Christ by the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Alright. So now we know that these things are real, and this is exactly what we’ve been studying for years, and looking at ever since we’ve been in the Message. Knowing that God has allowed us to live in this age, where the mystery of God would be known, see. The mystery of God would be known and the seven thunders that were not written in the Bible would be revealed. That’s the day that we’re living in. Alright. So now, I want you to look at Genesis 3:20 and the man calls his wife, Adam calls his wife by the name “Eve”. Alright. So now, this has a meaning. And in the Hebrew, this name “Eve”, this word “Eve”, it means h-a v-v-a-h - havvah, which it means literally, “living one”. Living one. Now,if you translate that into our every day language today it would be “the life-giver”. He called his wife’s name Eve, because she’s the mother of all living. Verse 20 of the 3rd Chapter. Alright.

So, that means that she was the life-giver. It was much deeper than just giving birth to the human race. It was saying that the Life-Giver is coming through the woman. See, the Life-Giver has got to come through the woman. That incarnate God has got to be born as a human being, as a baby. Amen. Has got to come through the woman without any instrumentality of man whatsoever. That’s the Redeemer. That‘s the only way that he can do it for you. Amen. So, God is telling us, actually, He’s telling the human race or that the Life-Giving One is Christ. And the Life-Giving Christ is coming through the woman. Amen. And so, actually, Adam had enough of understanding to know that and he called her “Eve”. And, if we can understand these things. Now, of course, from the very moment, from the very moment that these words were spoken in Genesis 3:15, Satan began to watch for that righteous Seed. All the way through, he began to watch, and, he wanted to destroy that. Alright. So, we know that his attempt to do that was constantly at work. We don’t know how clearly and how much Satan understood about this redemptive work. We don’t know how much he understood about how it’s going to come about. But, we do know that he did know that it was going to happen. See.

And then, in I Corinthians, I just wrote down a little bit here and paraphrased that. I Corinthians 2, Verse 8 Paul tell us that these wise, the princes of this world, the prince of this world and things like that. He said if they had known... We know they didn’t know all of it. Paul said, “If they had known it, if they had known it. If they had known that this One that they were going to kill would come back and be the Redeemer and break the yoke, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of Glory.” Paul said they wouldn’t have done it. If they had know, they would have not did that. Alright. So we know that they didn’t know it. So, you see me turning pages right fast. I’m trying to get the main emphasis the things that I want to emphasize on, I want to get to you. I want to get it. But, some of the things that I could go around and around and use a lot of time, I’m trying to cut that short if I can, because I want to get these quotes in here this morning. Alright. Now, so, Satan knew that through the human race a Redeemer had to come. He knew that, because God had told him that in the garden. He told that serpent that in the garden. And then, he started working. He started working toward destroying that Seed. And that righteous Seed was what he was after.

And then, we know that there’s two things that, there’s two things that Satan wanted to destroy in the human race. One of them, listen close. One of them, he wanted to destroy the knowledge of God from the human race. He wanted to sow seed of discrepancy in a persons mind, so that they would falter from the Word. He don’t care how much you believe the Word, just so you doubt a little bit of it. And so he wants... His main efforts was to destroy the knowledge of God in the human race. That was the first thing he wanted to do. And then, the second thing he was to watch for that righteous line that was coming through the human race and to destroy that if he possibly could get to it. Those two things were his main efforts. And through these things he would make it, if he could do that, he would make it impossible for the Redeemer to come through the human race and he knew that It had to do that. And, if it didn’t come through the human race there would be no yoke, his yoke wouldn’t be broken. He would have had the whole thing. He would have accomplished what he wanted to accomplish over God.

And so, we know that he was up... Ever since he talked to Eve, he has tried to separate man from God and separate their fellowship. He’s tried to do that. That’s exactly what the denominations did, see. That’s exactly what he done here when he spoke to the people here, carried them off somewhere else and then split them three or four different ways. Some of them going one way, some another, some sitting at home, some doing this and that. What is it? He’s accomplishing what he’s trying to do. He’s trying to separate the fellowship from the brotherhood and also from God, see. That’s exactly what he’s doing. He’s causing confusion. Alright.

So, Satan’s first attempt, we find, if you want to look at it, you can find the act of Cain, Satan’s son, as he come against his brother in the 4th Chapter of Genesis, 1 through 15. You can find that he made his first attempt to destroy the righteous Seed right there. Abel had a witness. Abel had a witness that, actually, God was pleased with his offering. And so, he was righteous by offering a sacrifice in faith, in revelation. He offered a sacrifice, knowing what had been done in the Garden. And, his sacrifice was a blood offering, which the blood was actually the sin in the garden. And now, Satan’s son, Cain, is to destroy this righteous Seed. See, and stop It right there. Genesis 4:4 says that, “Abel also brought of the firstling of his flock and of the fat thereof and the Lord God had respect.”

And, I’d like to use the word “Jehovah”, because we’re going to get into that later on. How many of you know the name, Jehovah is always connected with the covenant people. That’s the way He deals with the human race in His covenant order and so forth is by the name Jehovah. By the name “Elohim” He acts. His actions is in there. But, His covenant is always between Jehovah and the people. That’s the reason Brother Branham said, “And the Jehovah of the old, is the Jesus of the new, because Jehovah come down and become a human being and dwelt among man that He could bring man back to Him.” Amen. It was Jehovah. Amen. And so, we find here that Jehovah had respect for Abel and also to his offering.

And so, Satan saw that. Paul even referred to it. I believe it’s in Chapter 11 of Hebrews, Verse 4. He said that Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than that of Cain. Is that right? And when he did this, see, it was actually spoke of him that he was righteous. Alright. God bearing witness in respect to his gifts and through it knowing that he being dead still speaks. Is that what the Scripture says? He being dead still speaks. Amen. Alright. And his blood cried out from the ground, amen, against Cain. Alright. So now, we know now, he has got the first one. Alright. And in destroying this righteous Seed, he had destroyed the righteous line. That was It. He had destroyed It. So now, what’s going to happen? God is going to come right back and restore that in Seth, see. Alright. Watch.

In Genesis 4:25, Seth was born to Adam and Eve and he must have somehow realized and understood that Abel was that righteous line, that Cain slew, because what she had said here. She named him Seth. What does that mean? What does the word mean? “Substitute”. Seth, the word means substitute. And what she said here, “God hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel which Cain slew.” God hath appointed me another seed..why didn’t she say that Cain was the righteous. She knew he wasn’t. She knew who he was. “But, God has appointed me another seed, another righteous Seed, now, has come on the scene. So now, the seed of the woman begins to move on now. It begins to go on toward that time that the real Seed of the woman would come into existence. And now, the nature of Satan, see, working in the human race is always trying to stop God’s work every way He starts. See, Brother Branham said, “If you ever speak it, then Satan is going to get it,” see. And then, he’s going to start working against It. He does that. He’ll do that any time you get something going for God and the first thing you know, Satan wants to get in there and put a hamper on it, see. And, try to hinder It every way he can. Alright.

So now, we find then that this that he had injected into the human race, actually caused man to be alienated from God. Is that right? And our minds were blinded. That’s right. And now, as we go on in this now, Satan, his attempt to make the Seed of the woman absolutely unexistent, stop It before It comes down to the Redeemer. That’s exactly what he’s trying to do. And, if he can stop that before the incarnation, then he’s got it all worked out, but you see, he can’t do it. All of his bitter wars against the Seed of the woman never stopped God’s plan from working. He sawed them asunder. He throwed them in the lion’s den, they were torn apart. Everything. Burned at the stake. All of these things happened. Why? Because, Satan was after that righteous Seed, bruising the heel and God’s right on, moving right on, right on. Amen. He could not stop It. So, the incarnate One is called the Seed of the woman, in the general term, we know that. Alright.

So, in Genesis 12:3, now, we see God beginning to get a little more specific about the Seed of the woman. Watch, now and how it’s coming. First, He just said, “The seed of the woman.” Then in Genesis 12:3 He marks it a little closer and He said, “the Seed of Abraham.” Right? Seed of Abraham. Alright. So then, in Psalms 89, Verses 3 and 4, He now is bringing it into the Seed of David. See? Watch. Now, He’s going to come through the family of David. Alright. That family is marked. Alright. So now, the House of David. Alright. So then, He come a little bit more now in Isaiah 7, Verse 14 and then He tells how it’s going to happen, see. That’s what He tells. He said, “Behold, a virgin shall conceive.” Amen. “ And bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel.”

Now, this virgin must have been identified because Brother Branham said that when that prophecy went forth, right there that Isaiah spoke. He said that went around and around, waiting for that specific virgin, not any virgin, that one, the virgin. The one that God had ordained had to come on the face of this earth. Amen. And when she come then the angel brought that message and said. “You’re the one. Blessed art thou.” Alright. So then, it was marked down for that. And then, if we study the history of Israel, we can see that Satan started after the Seed of Abraham. After the Seed of Abraham started then he started trying to destroy, every way he could. Also, in David, he tried to destroy. And then, it could not be stopped because God did not intend for it to do that. Alright. So now, we want to notice now in Genesis 6:1-3.

See? They took to them women, the original, they took to them women. Alright. So, what has Satan done then? What he’s done then, he has took those women of men, of the serpent seed, those daughters of the serpent seed. He set them out there, now and he’s made them beautiful before the sons of God. And so, the sons of God began to contaminate the righteous Seed. The righteous Seed begins to contaminate themselves with the women that was born of the serpent seed. And so, it got into such a conglomeration until God looked at it and he repented that he even created man upon the face of the earth. That’s what the Scripture says. Everything was gone! And, he pulled one man, Noah. He could find one righteous man in the whole human race. They had mixed up. They had gone wild.

Just like, if we’re not careful, our young people will do the same thing. They’ll go out and get every woman out there, you know, because of the lust of the flesh! You’ll be sorry that you done it! Hold to God’s plan. Brother Branham said, “Don’t do it!” He meant don’t do it. You go out there and you marry them and you’re not going to change them. You can say what you want to. You’re not going to change them. They are what they are. If you want to be sure get one that’s already been taught, that knows and has accepted and will go. I’m telling you the truth for your own good,for your own good. That’s what happened back here. They saw the daughters of men that they were fair and they took to them wives. Running around here with pants and shorts on and you calling yourself a son of God and going out and indulging in that. Wake up! Tell her to respect and put on some clothes or go home. Amen. Listen to me. You can’t do it children. You can’t. That’s what happened here. That’s exactly what happened. You’ll be in a mess, as sure as you’re living, if you go right on and let them do and do and then you cater to them, cater to them.

What is it that you’re after? What are you looking for? Amen. Look for something...look for a jewel. Amen. Find that. It’s precious. Don’t look for water in your blood. Amen. That’s what they done. Alright. So then, we know what happened. And then, of course, the Sethites...What happened? They began to walk with God, then they got all mixed up out there with the daughters of men. And then, the Lord said,”It’s time to call a halt. It’s time to stop it. It’s time right now.” So, watch now. In Genesis 4:25, the word LORD, in capital letters, in the original it means, “Jehovah” the covenant name of God, the covenant name. The covenant between man and God had been broken. Amen. Had been broken there. So now, he’s got to re-establish it so he comes back and what does He do? He wipes out the whole human race, all except Noah and his family. Is that right? All except Noah and his family, he wipes it out. The seventh from Seth was Enoch. Enoch walked with God and he was not, because God took him. Is that right?

Alright, in Hebrews 11:5 tells us that. Alright. Now, in the 6th Chapter of Genesis, we see again the working of Satan to stop the purpose of God. He causes the inter-marriage of the line of Cain with the righteous Seed. That’s exactly what Brother Branham said. You know I’m telling you the truth. Exactly like he said, that’s exactly what happened. He caused that inter-marriage there. Alright. It’ll destroy. You just keep bringing them in. You watch and see. You go out there. You say, “Well, I tell you, she believes the Message.” No, she don’t. If she did, she’d be sitting right here believing the Message, see. No. You say, “Well, I’ll change her when I get her.” No, you won’t. You watch what I tell you. No, you won’t do it. You’re going right with them and you’re going to find out that instead of you pulling them, they’ll pull you. And, you watch what I tell you. Now, you’ve got to be strong enough to make your stand now. You’ve got to be strong enough to make your stand now and say, “I want something that’s real. I want something that’s more than just on the outside. I want something that’s real.”

Alright. Watch, now. This is what corrupted the whole line through which the Redeemer was suppose to come, except one man, Noah. So he goes in and He gets that man, then He makes a covenant with Noah. He makes the covenant with Noah then and He starts the work right on down.And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and what did He do? The very imagination of their heart was evil continually. Evil continually. The hole thing was gone. Alright. So God is making plans now to do away with the human race. And now, He does that and He brings Noah through. Now, the righteous Line would have to come through Noah. And this is where the incarnation is going to be moving right on out now, the plans of God. Alright. So Satan had not hindered God’s work yet, even though he thought he had. See. It was just a small thing for God just to tell Noah, “You build you an ark and you get in there and take these animals in there and I’m going to wipe them off of the face of the earth and we’re going to start over.” Amen. We’re going to start over. Alright. So you find out that’s what happened.

Now, if the righteous line were preserved and the knowledge of Himself kept upon the earth, then God must destroy the human race and that’s exactly what Brother Branham said. He had to destroy and start all over again,so that the Redeemer, they would have a righteous Seed to carry on, so that we could continue this thing going with God. Alright. Now, I want to read, and we’ve been talking... Most of this morning you notice what we’ve been talking about is Satan’s plan to destroy the righteous Seed or Satan’s seed bruising the heel of, the Seed of the woman. Is that right? So, that’s what we’ve been talking about. Alright. Now this whole message this morning is what it’s been. Alright. So now, I want to read some quotes. And, I want you to listen close. I got three pages of them here, and I want to get them over.

Alright.) HOW HE DID THE SAME THING BY ABEL, (And) WHEN HE SEEN HOW THE LINE OF ABEL WAS GOING TO COME THE RIGHTEOUS SEED. (See?) AND THEN GOD, OF COURSE, BROUGHT SETH IN TO TAKE HIS PLACE. AND THEN, IN THE ROYAL SEED IN CHRONICLES, AND ALSO OVER IN THE BOOK OF MATTHEW, JESUS, HOW HE KILLED ALL THE CHILDREN TRYING TO CUT OFF, OR TO STOP GOD’S PROGRAM. BUT THERE’S NO WAY AT ALL OF EVER STOPPING GOD’S PROGRAM.”

BUT THEY’LL NEVER DO IT; YOU CAN’T DO IT. GOD’S CHURCH WILL MOVE ON JUST AS SURE AS THE WORLD. THEY TRIED THAT BEFORE, FED THEM TO LIONS, AND BURNED THEM TO THE STAKE, BUT GOD’S CHURCH MOVED ON JUST THE SAME. SAID, ‘THE GATES OF HELL CANNOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT.’ SHOWED THAT ALL THE GATES OF HELL WOULD BE AGAINST IT AND THE POWERS OF HELL, BUT IT WOULD NEVER PREVAIL. GOD WILL MOVE RIGHT ON WITH HIS CHURCH. IT ALWAYS (has been) THAT WAY.”

Amen. It always has been that way. So Satan... I spoke pretty hard a while ago, you know, about these young people going out to the world for their companion. Now let me tell you something. I want you to look and listen to me. I want you to listen to me close, all of you. If you let a woman know that you are a Christian, you young men, and she don’t have enough respect for you to dress, and bring a reproach upon you as a Christian with pants and shorts and all that stuff you should run for your life. You should run for your life because she ain’t going to respect you when you marry her. If she don’t respect you now, she’s not going to respect you then. You understand what I’m saying. You’ve got a chance now. But after that, and then children coming and then the first thing you know... And then you see, I would make my choice now. Amen. I just thought I would stop. If they don’t have respect for you now, as a son of God, they won’t have respect for you when you marry. And if they didn’t have respect for me now, and for my family, I wouldn’t have it. No, sir. I wouldn’t have my children. I wouldn’t have my children associating with them wearing their pants and their shorts and everything out there in the daily activities. I wouldn’t do it. Mine won’t do it. Amen. I’m just telling you. I couldn’t do that, because it’s not right. Alright. Now, so now, I’m going to move on now. I’ve said that and I hope you still love me like you do, because, I mean, I’m only telling you the truth. I’m only telling you the truth. Get away from it, young men. Get away from it. Look what you’re doing. Stop, in your tracks and say, “Wait a minute. What... Is this worth it? Is it worth it?” Amen. Alright. “The Infallibility of God’s Word”

See, he thought, “Well, I got him now. I got John the Baptist, but he found out he was over there in Jesus, see. So, when he got Abel he found out he was over there in Seth. When he got Sethites he found out he was over there in Noah. And then, when he come down there to the tower of Babel, then he found out that he was over there in Abraham. Amen. And then, in Isaac, see, you can’t stop it. It’s God. Amen. That’s what I’m trying to get to you children.

Through Abraham would come the righteous seed.) AND ABRAHAM, AS BELIEVED BY MANY TO BE A JEW, HE WAS NOT (a Jew. He was a Gentile), A CHALDEAN FROM THE CITY OF UR. AND HE BECAME GOD’S SERVANT, NOT BECAUSE HE WAS DIFFERENT FROM ANYONE ELSE, BUT BECAUSE OF THE ELECTION OF GOD.”

“WATCH WHAT GOD WAS TELLING ABRAHAM, ‘AT CALVARY, AT CALVARY, ACCORDING TO YOUR SEED... OUR LORD SPRUNG OUT OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH,...” (Not out of the Levites.)

“...’...LOOK AROUND THROUGH THE LAND, SEE WHAT BELONGS TO YOU. SEE THAT, THAT’S ALL YOURS (now).’ OH, I LOVE THAT. LOOK AROUND, SEE WHAT YOU GOT COMING TO YOU. WHY DON’T YOU GO TOMORROW AND LOOK IN THE BIBLE AND SEE—SEE WHAT YOU’RE HEIR OF? (See what is coming to you, see?) JUST SEE WHAT ALL THESE GREAT BLESSINGS THAT HE PROMISED YOU. YOU’RE HEIR OF IT. IT’S YOURS. YOU NEVER MERITED ANYTHING, (See?) BUT IT WAS HEIRED TO YOU THROUGH THE RIGHTEOUS SEED OF ABRAHAM, WHICH WAS JESUS CHRIST. WE, BEING DEAD IN CHRIST, TAKE ON ABRAHAM’S SEEDS AND ARE HEIRS WITH HIM OF THE PROMISE. (Amen.) THEN IF YOU’RE ABRAHAM’S SEED YOU BELIEVE EVERYTHING GOD SAID. (Alright.) GOD SAID, ‘HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS; (He was bruised for out iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him;) WITH HIS STRIPES WE’RE HEALED.’ I’M AN HEIR TO THAT. AMEN. I HEIRED THAT. WELL, ALL THESE BLESSINGS THAT HE PROMISED, I’M AN HEIR TO (them). ...THAT’S MY POSSESSION.”

That’s my possession. Amen. So now, we have knocked down anything that would make you think that Satan is going to stop God’s program. Every thing. We have showed you so many different ways that Satan has tried to accomplish his desires to stop God and to stop this Redeemer and none of it worked. Amen. None of it worked. So, I’m am persuaded to believe that none of it will ever work. And, everyone of you that’s predestinated to eternal Life be there. Amen. There is no devil big enough to stop it. No sir, he cannot. He can hit you below the belt. He can momentarily challenge you, but when you shake yourself and realize who you are and you come out from there saying, “I’m one of Them, I’m one of Them.” Amen.

Satan is no more than just a little ant in the sight of God, like a ant would be to us. Not even that much. God could just put His big old foot on him, Brother Lanny, anytime He wanted to. And just stop him. Like I said, Wednesday night, He’s dancing on the end of a string, and God’s got the other end of that string, and when He gets through, He’ll just pull the string. Down he goes. Amen. He’s through. Satan has been destroyed, to the Christian. To the born-again child of God, Satan has been destroyed. Is that what Brother Branham said about the two souls? That’s exactly what he said. He said that nature that’s in there, that’s the nature, of course of the world. And, he said that nature, that soul has to be destroyed. Alright, when that soul is destroyed, then the book that was attached to that soul, to that nature, the book that was attached to that goes with that nature, see. Everything that you done under that book, when that nature is destroyed, then the book that that nature caused to happen is destroyed with it.

So, that leaves you with no condemnation. That leaves you, that you didn’t do it. See, you never... You’re justified. In the sight of God, you never done any of those things. And the biggest problem that the Christian has, today, and you’ll have to admit it, is thinking about things that did happen. See? And, God said it didn’t happen. How many of you believe that? Do you believe that? God said it didn’t happen. You say, “Well, I went out here and I done this and I...” God said you didn’t. And, if He can’t find the record of it, I’m certainly not going to try to dig it up, are you? Amen. If he can’t find the record of it, I’m not going to try to find it. Amen. I believe it’s gone. And, I believe it’s exactly the truth of all of the elect Seed of God, I believe that the elect of God is homeward bound. They’re homeward bound, and nothing can hinder you. Nothing. Amen. This little group right here is just a little small pinch of it. Around the world, God’s got children. Around the world, you believe that, yes sir, that will believe every Word of God. Amen.

Come on, sister. Don’t you love Him? Don’t you appreciate, Him? Amen. Now, I thought some of these messages was going to take a lot longer. You notice I didn’’t take much time this morning to do a lot of comment. But, I’m glad that we’re getting out right on time and that’s good. And, I got the message over. The thing that...now, remember, the subtopic of this this morning under, “Death and Life Set Before You,” is “Satan Failed Every Time.” “Satan Failed Every Time.” See, in his race with God toward destroying the righteous Seed, so that the Redeemer couldn’t come, he failed every time. Every time he failed. Well, how many times will he fail? Every time.

You know, so many times , somebody say, “Well, I’m just a failure. Everything I try to do, I fail.” That’s exactly what Satan wants to hear you say. Why, he’d rather hear you say that than anything in the world. That’s right. I had some quotes in the “Church Ages” book and I’m going to save them until next time, and we won’t get into that this morning. Let us stand. Are you glad you’re One of Them? Are you glad you’ve been brought with a price? Are you glad that you’re heir of all things? This world don’t belong... Satan, he thinks he controls everything. And, I remember reading one time, I was all down and out. You know-you say, “You don’t get that way.” Well, sometimes... and you know, I don’t stay there long. I guarantee you that.

And I got a message titled, “Paul, A Prisoner of Christ.” And, I got to reading in there, Brother Gerald, and Brother Branham said that when you meet them on the street, just cross over to the other side. Don’t argue with them. Don’t fuss with them. Don’t fight with them. Just cross over to the other side, see, and go on. Said because it’s all yours anyway. It’s all yours anyway. It’s coming. So, just be patient. Be patient and wait. We’re going to have it all. Amen. We’re going to have it. We may be a pauper here. We may never have a bank account here. We may never have a nice automobile to drive. That has nothing to do with it. Sometimes I think we’d be better if we didn’t have so much. I’m telling you the truth. We’d be digging more for God. Amen. And, more after Him. Amen. So, let’s just remember, we must not walk after the flesh to please the flesh. We must walk after the Spirit. “Walk in the Spirit.” Amen.

Praise the Lord. He’s still the Rose of Sharon. He’s still the Lily of the valley. Amen? He’s still the bright and Morning Star. He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul. Now, as I said, these messages probably might get a little longer as we go on. I don’t want them to get to long. I’d love to hold it down to an hour and a half, something like that, after I start the message. I’d love to do that. I know that you can’t absorb but just so much. But, we got so much to talk about. It’s going to take a long time to carry it through, Brother Gerald, like I see it. I mean it’s going to take a while, but I want us to look at these things, now. This morning, we should be convinced that Satan is a loser. We should be convinced with the quotes that we have heard this morning. We should be convinced that Satan is a loser and that he has no power over God. Amen. So, I believe that anything can be conquered in the Name of Jesus. Amen. “In the Name of Jesus”, let’s sing it.

When they all confederated themselves together, they were going to pull every door and shut every door. And they will do it sometime.

And doing so, well, then, they think then that they’ll stop all of this stuff, like Divine healing and all these things that the--that the churches don’t accept. He’s the High Priest of our confession. The Hebrew says there, the Hebrew letter says, “He’s a High Priest of our profession.” To profess and confess is the same thing, of course. So, we... He’s the High Priest of our confession. Therefore, He cannot do anything for us until first we confess that He has done it. And then when we confess it, then He is the High Priest, a Mediator to go to work on that and make it right. So we pray, trusting in God tonight, in His kindness and mercy, that He will give to us His abundance of grace tonight.
