Who Is The Remnant?

Let us bow our heads. Father, we're grateful to You, again, for the privilege to come together. We thank You,'Lord, for the infallible Word that is only a part of You that's in Word form that must come into our hearts, Lord, and become a part of us. We're so glad that that's what's taking place, Lord. That the manifestation of the Word of the hour is beginning to live out, beginning to proclaim What It is. We're so thankful, Lord, that You allowed us to live in this hour, in this day. Lord, I pray that You'd open up our understanding. Let the people realize this morning, Lord, that this is not just a gathering, but this is a coming together, Lord, to further our understanding and our revelation concerning You which is the Word of the hour. Grant it, Father, that every one of us might hold fast to every Word that's been spoken, that we may not deviate, we may not turn to the right or to the left, but we would believe with all that is within us.

And Lord, may there be no unbelief among us,. May there be no differences, Lord, but may we speak the same thing, believing. the same thing, wherever the people out in the land, Lord, where the tapes may go, anyone that might get a-hold of these messages,Lord, on these touchy subjects. I trust that they would take it back, Lord, to the spoken Word and check it out. Make sure, Lord, before anyone would make a decision to come against it, to realize that it's ordered of You, it's not our doing. Grant it, Father.

May You show mercy to the people now. Forgive us of our mistakes and shortcomings, Lord, as we wait upon You now for the Manna for this moment. We'll give You the honor, for it's in Jesus' Name, the Son of Man we ask it. Amen. You may be seated.

I want you to turn with us now to Acts the 15th chapter, I want to read a few verses there, and we want to go to Matthew 17. Now out here on the board we have a list of the subject material that we'll be using throughout this week. It's not going to be easy to bring it in a way that I feel like that you'll hold it in line so that you won't be trying to maybe think about') "Well, he said so-and-so over here," or, "He said this over there." You know we're going to have to take it right down the line, set and look at it for what it's been to us in this hour now. And so, I believe that these are things that need to be dealt with. And so, we need to know where we're at and what's going on now and what we can look forward to in the judgment, see? Because a lot of people expecting to, if they miss the rapture, the Gentiles, a lot of the Gentiles are expecting if they miss the rapture to come up over there. That day's gone. It's already past. It won't -- it just won't be. It can't be.

By the help and grace of God, I believe that we can give you enough of material, enough of the spoken Word to convince every one of you, if you want to be convinced, see? If you don't want to be convinced, then that's up to you. But I believe that every one of you can be convinced by the Word of the hour that it's over when the Bride goes into the Wedding Supper. Over for the Gentiles.

Alright now, let's look in Verse 12 of Chapter 15 of the Acts of the apostles.

THEN ALL THE MULTITUDE KEPT SILENCE, AND GAVE AUDIENCE
TO BARNABAS AND PAUL,. . .

Now that's some real good advice, real good advice. See, that's the problem around the Message today, all of you laity know more than the ministry. No, it's not that way here. But you go around different places, you'll find people sitting at home listen-ing to tapes. They say, "We can get it ourselves." They're defy-ing the purpose of God. They're saying that God didn't know what He meant when He set the five-fold ministry. So you can't do it. I don't care who you are, you can't do it. It's important for you to listen to the pastor, see. Now, you've already said our pastor is the Lord. But now, does He speak? See? Now, if you can find out how He speaks, then you'll know. See? And so, you've just got to find your place, and you've got to know. And that's the problem today, the people don't want to do it. They want to search it out for themselves and get satisfied on it themselves without it coming God's way. And they're getting mixed up, and they stay down in the valley more than they stay on the hilltop. I know, I've watched it, I've saw it. When you see people want to figure it out for themselves, you see a person that's unhappy all the time. Because he's always running aground here, running aground there. Then, they got to be corrected. See? And so, that's just a problem-it's a problem to a person that can't get over it.

Alright, now let us go on with our reading. That's just some-thing to let you look at so you'll know that God is not going to change His way of doing things. He's not going to do it.

THEN ALL THE MULTITUDE KEPT SILENCE, AND GAVE AUDIENCE
TO BARNABAS AND PAUL, DECLARING WHAT MIRACLES AND WONDERS
GOD HAD WROUGHT AMONG THE GENTILES BY THEM.

AND AFTER THEY HAD HELD THEIR PEACE, JAMES ANSWERED, SAYING,
MEN AND BRETHREN, HEARKEN UNTO ME:

SIMEON HATH DECLARED HOW GOD AT THE FIRST DID VISIT THE
GENTILES, TO TAKE OUT OF THEM A PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME.

I want to read Verse 14 again.

SIMEON HATH DECLARED HOW GOD AT THE FIRST DID VISIT THE
GENTILES, TO TAKE OUT OF THEM A PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME.

AND TO THIS AGREE THE WORDS OF THE PROPHETS; AS IT IS
WRITTEN,

Now he's going to go back to the written Word now. This is
Spoken Word, this time that it's coming forth - James is speaking the Word. So, he's going to go back now to the written Word and lay a foundation for what he's saying. See? He's going to back it up by the written Word.

AFTER THIS I WILL RETURN, AND WILL BUILD AGAIN THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID, WHICH IS FALLEN DOWN; AND I WILL BUILD AGAIN THE RUINS THEREOF, AND I WILL SET IT UP:
THAT THE RESIDUE OF MEN MIGHT SEEK AFTER THE LORD, AND ALL THE GENTILES, UPON WHOM MY NAME IS CALLED....

Now I want you to listen close to this because Brother Branham said the Bride takes His Name. And I can't find nothing else.

... SAITH THE LORD, WHO DOETH ALL THESE THINGS.
KNOWN UNTO GOD ARE ALL HIS WORKS FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD.

Now, in Matthew 16, or 17, I beg your pardon, Matthew, Chapter 17, I want to read the first six verses. And the subject this morning, of course, is a question, "Who is the Remnant?" "Who is the Remnant?"

AND AFTER SIX DAYS JESUS TAKETH PETER, JAMES, AND JOHN HIS BROTHER, AND BRINGETH THEM UP INTO AN HIGH MOUNTAIN APART,
AND WAS TRANSFIGURED BEFORE THEM: AND HIS FACE DID SHINE AS THE SUN, AND HIS RAIMENT WAS WHITE AS THE LIGHT.
AND, BEHOLD, THERE APPEARED UNTO THEM MOSES AND ELIAS TALKING WITH HIM.
THEN ANSWERED PETER, AND SAID UNTO JESUS, LORD, IT IS GOOD FOR US TO BE HERE: IF THOU WILT, LET US MAKE HERE THREE TABERNACLES; ONE FOR THEE, AND ONE FOR MOSES, AND ONE FOR ELIAS.
WHILE HE YET SPAKE, BEHOLD, A BRIGHT CLOUD OVERSHADOWED THEM: AND BEHOLD A VOICE OUT OF THE CLOUD, WHICH SAID, THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED; HEAR YE HIM.
AND WHEN THE DISCIPLES HEARD IT, THEY FELL ON THEIR FACE, AND WERE SORE AFRAID.

Now, that's reading through Verse 6. I trust that you'll accept the reading of the Word this morning, the written Word of God, as a foundation for the basis which the prophet has spoken these things.

And now, I want to call your attention to a message titled "The Uncertain Sound," and I want us to look at Page 51, Paragraph 392. Remember the question, "Who is the Remnant?" "Who is the Remnant?" And that's what we want to look at. I have heard all of the time that I've been in the Message, that, "The remnant goes through the tribulation." "The remnant goes through the tribulation." "The remnant goes through the tribulation.." And through all of my studying, I have waited and watched and saw what the prophet said concerning the remnant and how he'd pull them out, pull them out, pull them out. It would be a minority, a minority, a minority. And I knew something wasn't right. It just wouldn't work.

And, but yet, you couldn't get the people to listen to you.So you just have to be quiet until you get the people steady enough
to where you feel like that God has ordained a time to bring these things. And when you feel like that, then you step out there and
you feel no uneasiness, you feel confident that it is time to declare it. And then, you step forth and declare it. And then when it's
declared, it's settled, it's there, and then God uses it for His glory. Amen.

So we have to listen to, careful to what the prophet has said. We read a quote Wednesday night to make you aware that Brother Branham said, "The Bible is written in such a manner that it seems like it's contradictory." Simply because it's to throw the people off that are not supposed to pick it up. The ones that are not supposed to be spiritual, they'll throw them off. But the spiritual will catch the spiritual side; the carnal will catch the other. It's a compound meaning.

Alright, now in Paragraph 392 let's take the first quote from a message "The Uncertain Sound."

"AND THERE WAS PETER, JAMES, AND JOHN; THE REMNANT OF THE JEWS, LOOKING, SAYING, 'THAT'S HIM THAT'S HIM. THAT'S THE ORDER OF THE COMING OF THE LORD…"

Now I want to stop right here and make it clear that there -- that has to be played out in our day. It has to be played out in our day. There was a prophecy that come forth, and I'm taking a little time this morning to kind of lay down a few things just at random. But you'll find it the truth if you want to go back and check it. Just paraphrasing, but you'll find it to be exactly like I'm saying it. Not word for word, but not changing the meaning. It's in essence what I'm saying.

Alright, there was a prophecy came forth one time and Brother Branham spoke of this prophecy. And said this woman, I believe it was maybe Sister Schrader, I'm not sure, I think that might have been the woman. She was, Brother Branham looked to, at her as a prophetess. You say, "A woman?" Anna was a prophetess. Miriam was a prophetess. Yes. You see women have their place. That's right. Sister Schrader, I believe it was, that gave this --- maybe not been her, I'm not sure. But I know she had given prophecy. And she told about a sportsman's hollow one time. And Brother Branham said, "Now remember," he said, "when that come forth it was exactly like I said it." Said, "The place that you call Sportsman's Hollow," see? It wasn't named that -- Brother Branham named it Sportsman's Hollow because he went in there and saw about twenty-something squirrels on a tree. He shot the limit, walked out and left the others playing on the tree. How many of you all could do that? See? See? Kind of hard to do, ain't it? But you see, that's what you've got to do. And he called it Sportsman's Hollow.

Alright, so when the prophecy came forth, then, of course, it had to be just exactly right, word for word, see? That's the thing. And I'll go with prophecy when it comes word for word, exactly right and then it comes to pass. But if it don't come to pass, my brother and sister, they can scream and holler and

run up and down the aisles until their tongue falls out of their mouth and I'll laugh at them.. Because actually... You say, "You would laugh at them?" Well, why not? It's a sounding brass and a tinkling symbol, and God has nothing to do with that. You say, "Brother, you can't come against that?" He's already against it. And anything He's against, I'm against. He said he would laugh when their calamity comes. God said He would laugh. I'm a part of God, remember? You all remember that. You'd better know you are.

Now, I'll get around to this, in what we were talking about. But anyway, there was a prophecy that come forth. And in this prophecy was like this: "In the next three months you will see the ministry of Moses, Elijah" (and I believe) "and the Lord Jesus Christ." There was three. "In the next three months you'll see that." Brother Branham asked the question, he said, "Did you see it?" He said, "Exactly, exactly." How did that happen? Look, Moses come forth with a sign. Remember that. The ministry of Moses was played out perfectly in our prophet. Absolutely. Then come Elijah, the Message, screaming against the denominations, the Jezebels, the bobbed haired women, the untamed women. That was the Message of Elijah, see? Then come the Lord Himself. And that's exactly the order in which the Message came. First pull, second pull, third pull.. And it's exactly vindicated. It's got to be the truth!

So, we have had the Message of Moses, we have had the Message of Elijah, and now, we are listening to the Voice of God, which is absolutely the Son of Man. What took place on the Mount of Transfiguration? He said, "This is My beloved Son, hear Him." We're no longer listening to the sound of the... signs, we are now listening to the Son of God, the Son of Man. The Word has come forth in Its fullness, not in part. Not to get your attention, but to drive home a fact. No more calling -- swinging a net to try to get the people's attention. No more petting people on the back. No more putting sugar tits. Tell them the truth! It's the Word! It's God Himself speaking now! Amen! I hope you can see it. If you don't, children, there's a....miss the whole thing. Amen!

"AND THERE WAS PETER, JAMES, AND JOHN; THE REMNANT OF THE JEWS, LOOKING, SAYING, 'THAT'S HIM. THAT'S HIM.' THAT'S THE ORDER OF THE COMING OF THE LORD. SEE IT? THERE IT IS, THE RESURRECTION! THERE THEY WAS. OH, ISN'T IT WONDERFUL?..."
"NOW NOTICE, (the) ONLY THING HE DONE, HE TOOK OFF HIS MASK OF HUMANITY (Took off His mask of humanity...) AND BECOME IN A GLORIFIED STATE. SEE, HE CHANGED HIS FASHION."

Changed His fashion, that's all He done. Now let us look on a message, "The Patmos Vision," on Page 72 of the Revelation of Jesus Christ book -- the red book, where I'm taking most of these quotes from, because it could make it easier for me to do that. Paragraph 15:

"NOW BACK TO THIS REMNANT, BEFORE WE LEAVE THE QUESTION. I HOPED I'D GET IT CLEAR, THIS. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT THE

REMNANT IS CHOSE BY GOD. I -- I BELIEVE IT, THAT GOD CHOSE THE REMNANT BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD;…"

Now you remember, I read in Genesis -- I mean in Acts 15 there, where before the foundation of the world -- or by His ordination, ordained plan, predestinated plan, He had chosen a people from the Gentiles for His Name. That's a people from the Gentiles for His Name. Not a minor -- not a majority, a minority. A minority, alright. And anytime you've got a minority, you've got a remnant. Alright.

"...AND HAS BY HIS FOREKNOWLEDGE. NOT THE WORD, ... NOW WATCH THE 'PREDESTINATE,' SEE, 'CAUSE IT'S A STINGY LITTLE WORD AMONGST THE PEOPLE. SEE? BUT GOD, BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, IN HIS GREAT INFI14ITE MIND, CHOSE THE CHURCH, CHOSE JESUS, CHOSE THE CHURCH, AND COULD PREDICT AT THE BEGINNING WHAT IT WOULD BE AT THE END...."

You remember when I talked to you about the preview of the Bride, was it last Sunday or sometime? I said, "Then somebody picked up a ministry and said, 'The Bride's already made up, it's all over. No more mercy, because He -- has to be made up before there could be a preview.' Why God could have showed the Bride before He ever put a human being on the earth. He already had it made up in His mind. We're not talking about a Doctor of Divinity, we're not talking about a theologian; we're talking about an infinite God, amen, ?that speaks when He wills and keeps quiet when He wills. The trouble is, today people have failed to hear Him when He speaks because they don't understand where It's coming from. They can't catch the Voice. It's only one, it's only one Voice, and It sounds alike. He could speak through a hundred, thousand people and He'd say the same thing. I hope you get it.

"...IF HE'S INFINITE, THERE'S NOTHING WHAT HE DID NOT KNOW. HE KNOWED EVERY FLEA WOULD EVER BE ON EARTH, AND HOW MANY TIMES IT'D BAT ITS EYE...."

Can you imagine that? Serving a God that knew every flea that would be on the earth. And you can't even see their eye ... but they got an eye. And God knew how many times they'd bat their eye. And if He took all of them together and skinned them and made tallow, He knowed how much all of them would make, how much tallow would be taken from all of them. That's the God we're serving. Now you think you're in the hands of somebody that's going to fail? So, you see, what the Bride has got to do is realize who She is. And Brother Branham said, "When She does, then we'll go." And these things has to be put in order. They have to be put down at the appointed time so you can know who you are, so we can go. Alright.

"... NOW THAT'S JUST HOW... AND HOW MUCH TALLOW IT WOULD MAKE, AND HOW MUCH OF THEM ( ... would, all of it would make together now.) THAT'S INFINITE, IT'S INFINITY; JUST NO WAY TO EXPLAIN IT. AND GOD, THAT'S WHAT HE IS, THE INFINITE GOD."

Now that's what He is, the infinite God. Alright, you say,

"Well, he didn't say anything about the remnant." Yeah, you forgot

that he did, see? Right there in the beginning of this, see, he said, "Now let's take up that remnant again. Let's look at that thing again." See? He's calling your attention. "We want to go back and take up that little subject again, now." That remnant, see? Want to look at it again. Because we've got to find out that that remnant was chosen of God. Alright.

Now we're going to the "Thyatirean Church Age," Paragraph 137, in the red book it would be 310 and 311.

"NOW WATCH (Watch.) HIM CALL HER IN ANOTHER CHURCH AGE NOW. WATCH HIM CALL HER. (Now who is her?) WATCH HIM CALL HER IN ANOTHER CHURCH AGE. WATCH HIM CALL FOR HER. WATCH HIM PLEAD DOWN HERE AT THE END, AND TAKE OUT HIS REMNANT,......

"Watch Him plead down here at the end..." End of what? Every
church age.

"...AND TAKE OUT HIS REMNANT, 'THE ELECT'S SAKE,' JUST A FEW,......

"AS IT IS WRITTEN IN REVELATION 13:6. YOU LIKE TO GET
TO THAT JUST A MINUTE?..."

Now that's what we're going to be dealing with. We're going to be dealing with the 13th chapter of Revelation in this coming week. So, I'm not going to get into that this morning. But I'm just going to read what Brother Branham said here, and maybe take one passage of Scripture just as he put it down here.

"AS IT IS WRITTEN IN REVELATION 13:6. YOU LIKE TO GET TO THAT JUST A MINUTE? THAT HE SAID HE ... THAT 'THIS WOMAN CAUSED ALL TO RECEIVE A MARK..."

Watch now. He's talking about this Rome. I just read in the paper the other day, and I, Thursday, and showed it to Brother Don yesterday, I believe it was, where Ted Kennedy come out and he says, "Now it's time for us to nominate -- consider the nomination of a woman for the President of the United States." Either for the President or Vice-President. Mr. Mondale is making some mighty good progress. He just took Maine in the preliminaries. He will choose, to my opinion... to my opinion he'll be looking to a woman for his running mate. I could be wrong. But I believe that that's, looks like the way it's going. And if Mondale gets it and he gets a woman to trot by his side, he's home free. Alright. So remember he's already been in there as Vice-President, and so, he knows the set up and everything. But I'm not making no prediction. I said it just looks like that.

Alright now. Alright, let's go on now.

......... (THIS BEAST DID), (This beast, now.) CAUSED ALL
TO RECEIVE A MARK, (All to receive a mark.) BOTH POOR,
GREAT, WHOEVER THEY WAS), A MARK OF THE BEAST,' WHICH WAS
THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH."

Alright, now let's just read Revelation 13:14.

"AND HE DECEIVED THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH BY
THE MEANS OF THOSE MIRACLES WHICH HE HAD POWER TO
DO IN THE SIGHT OF THE BEAST; (Now this is the image,
of course.) (THAT'S THIS CONFEDERATION OF CHURCH)..."

You ought to see the write-up in this morning's paper about Heritage Village. Mr. Baker, he is really going strong. And Tammy, oh boy, they got it going. She's got her program, he's got his program. Everybody on the staff, even the camera people and everything is women, on Tammy's program.

"...AND TO DO IN THE SIGHT OF THE BEAST; SAYING UNTO
THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH, THAT THEY SHOULD MAKE AN
IMAGE UNTO THE BEAST, WHICH HAD THE DEADLY WOUND (PAGA
NISM) ... AND WAS BY THE SWORD, AND DID LIVE THROUGH
PAPACY. (See?) (PAGAN ROME [became] PAPAL ROME)"

"SEE, 'MAKE AN IMAGE TO HER.' WHAT WOULD IT BE? JUST
WHAT THEY'RE DOING RIGHT NOW, JUST EXACTLY, MOVING VP
IN THIS CONFEDERATION OF CHURCHES, 'ALL THE CHURCHES
BELONG TO THIS ORGANIZATION, ALL GO INTO ONE GROUP.
NOW THEY'RE GETTING A BIBLE. (They're getting a Bible.) ...

Alright, now. Mr. Baker himself made the statement openly, I believe here just last week, wasn't it, where, on a nationwide television, probably worldwide, that the old King James is kind of obsolete. That we got an open Bible. I hope you see where we're at. We'd better know where we're at because now the thing that the prophet has said is absolutely here! Watch what he said:

"...NOW THEY'RE GETTING A BIBLE. AND POPE JOHN HAS IN-
VITED THEM ALL BACK. THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY, ALL
GOING AROUND. FIRST THING YOU KNOW, THE WHOLE THING
COMES RIGHT BACK TO MAMMY, BECAUSE THEY'RE HARLOTS TO
BEGIN WITH. SEE? THEY SAY, 'WE'LL ALL JOIN TOGETHER
IN ONE BIG CAUSE TO FIGHT COMMUNISM.' AND DON'T KNOW
THAT GOD RAISED UP COMMUNISM (I CAN PROVE THAT BY THIS
BIBLE), AND EVEN PUT IN THEIR MINDS OF THEM TO AVENGE
THE SAINTS OF THE BLOOD THAT THEY HAD SHED UPON THE EARTH..."

God raised up an athiest country to avenge the nominal believers of the blood of the saints that they caused to be spilt. People that don't even believe in a God, God raised them up to destroy that makebeliever. You believe that? Amen!

"...GOD ORGANIZED COMMUNISM JUST THE SAME AS HE DID
KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR TO -- TO CHASTISE ISRAEL. HE
RAISED UP COMMUNISM, AND SOMEDAY SHE'LL BLOW ROME
PLUMB OFF THE MAP ......

Some people may not believe that, but you see, I'm just crazy enough to believe what the prophet said. I don't have no problem
with it. I have no problem with what the prophet said. Before I got all of these quotes together, He was working on me again
on the tribulation. And so I had a …In fact, my wife came in the study the other day, she said, "What in the world are you
doing with all these books on the floor?" I said, "That's my study material." I get right down on the floor with them. That's life

to me. Amen! If you have tolook for them -- like a jewel, like a pearl in a field, then God give us grace and wisdom and stay-ability to stay there and look for them. It's in there.

On the "Sardisean Church Age..." Now don't get excited because we're going to get on into ... after the Seals, see, we're going to get on in there. If you got the list you'll know that we're going to move on in there. But we're going to take it as it comes and show you that God knows what He's doing. Amen. He's not mixed up. The Message is not mixed up. People are mixed up because of false leaders. That's right.

Paragraph 172:

"AFTER THE FIRST CAME (LUTHER), AND THEN CAME ZWINGLI, AND ON DOWN, CALVIN, AND ON, AND SO FORTH, ON DOWN TO WESLEY. BUT THERE WAS A LITTLE REMNANT COME OUT OF THERE THAT TAUGHT SANCTIFICATION...."

Now who came out of Luther to teach sanctification? The remnant. Well was it the leftovers or was it the real thing? That's what I want to know. The real. The rest of it was the leftovers. The remnant was the real. Alright. Now let's go on. You see, it's all in here. It's in here. Yet I've been an odd ball all my life because I would not say something because I heard some preacher say it. Because it wouldn't work for me. There was too many things against it. And you got to go back and see what It says, and take It and go right on through with It. Alright.

"...AND OUT OF SANCTIFICATION COME A LITTLE REMNANT
WENT ON INTO THE HOLY GHOST. (Who? Alright.) SEE,
THAT LITTLE REMNANT, ALL THE WAY ALONG THERE, KEEPING
THAT ALIVE... ALL RIGHT."

Now, what's keeping it alive? The little remnant. See, that was the remnant of the Jews on the Mount of Transfiguration. That's what Brother Branham said. Alright. Now I hope you're following right along good because if you, if you brought your books, you can study right along with us. If you didn't, you can take it, the material and look at it.

Now, on the "Philadelphian Church Age," Paragraph 27, that's Page 377 in the red book.

"NOW, THERE'S ONE OF THE STRIKING THINGS, SO KEEP BEARING ON YOUR MIND THAT THESE CHURCH AGES START, AND WHATEVER S IN THAT ONE CHURCH AGE IT GOES ALL THE WAY DOWN THROUGH EVERY CHURCH AGE,…"

Whatever is in one church age it goes all the way down through every church age. Now, so that is where the Lord let me see (by His grace) that the foolish virgins started in the first church age. And it was nothing less than anti7Christ. And comes on down through every age. We'll get on that next week. You all just stay in with us and be patient.

Now, see, that's why I said.... Somebody said, "Well how could the Son of Man come and start His ministry in March of '63 and then the second pull still be in operation on over in July?" And said, "It's a lap over." It's a lap over. That's what Brother Branham said. Every age laps over. So the seventh church age , lapped over into the Son of Man - the Bride Age. But she was over when he said, "Look at the clock..." Precisely -- he had to go to a higher note on the piano. Everything went to a higher scale at that moment. Not an hour later, but right then. He said, "Look at the clock, it's on the dot 2:00. Right now at this moment the second pull is ended and the third one is at hand." No lap over no more. Amen! He's strong around here.

"AND TONIGHT AS WE'RE ENDING UP THE PHILADELPHIAN AGE, IT'S BRINGING IN THE BEGINNING OF THE LAODICEAN AGE."

Alright now on Page 418, still in the Philadelphian Church Age, Paragraph 270 -- way on over toward the end of that message, let's look again.

Watch close now. He's not deviating, he's not changing, see. Now he's gone and talking about the hundred and forty-four thousand that's going to receive the seal of God being called the remnant of the Jews. Who is the remnant? The ordained Elect of God. Watch it right on down now.

Oh! Now we're fixing to get into something. Now I want you to listen children. Because it's as sure as my name is Charlie Holmes in this fleshly union of Leila and Charlie Holmes, I have another Father. And I had nothing to do with that no more than I did of my earthly father. And neither can I deny my earthly father no more that I can deny my heavenly Father. Something in there that won't let you deny that Word. See? You may wrestle with it but you can't deny It. You can't deny It. You just put up with my emotional feelings because I tell you, I don't feel like it's going to be long till we'll be getting out of here. Now that's in the 7th chapter (I believe it is) of Revelation. Is that right? This is a problem for people. It's really a problem. Because they won't take what the prophet said. That's the only reason. If they take what the prophet said, it's no problem. See? Alright. But the reason they don't take what the prophet said is because the leaders of the country today, they won't tell them.

“AFTER THIS ... LO, A GREAT NUMBER, WHICH NO MAN COULD NUMBER, (Now.) (HERE COMES THE GENTILES), (Alright, now we know that's the Gentiles.) OF ALL NATIONS... KINDREDS, ... TONGUES, STOOD BEFORE GOD AND ... THE LAMB, CLOTHED IN WHITE ROBES, AND PALMS IN THEIR HAND;"

Stood before God and the Lamb clothed in white robes, and palms in their hands. Now he's going to tell us who these are. Now you say, "Well, Brother Holmes, that was before the Seals." Well you show me where he said any different. I want you to show me. You might say, "Well, oh, he said, 'This,' he said 'this'." But read it close and go on after it and see where he'll pick it up down there and clear it up and lay it in. That's what we're doing this coming week. We're not going to take the question and just what he said right there in a first paragraph. But we're going to take what he said in essence, that's what we're going to do. Alright.

Now he's asking the question to John; John being a Jew. He had no problem with the twelve tribes. He had no problem with the hundred and forty‑four thousand. But he's got a problem here. He don't recognize these, see.

AND I SAID UNTO HIM, SIR, THOU KNOWEST....

One brother asked me a question right off the bat here not too long ago. And you remember what I told you? I said, "Well, it could have been over there in a heathen country, it could have been this, it could have...." I never told you this, did I? So you watch, when there's something coming up and it's going to be brought across the pulpit, and you ask the question, I'll give you a little easy run‑around. Just a little easy run‑around and not make a statement. Just let you run it around. Cause there's only one hole in the fence. And you got to come back to that hole if it gets out, see? So you can run it all the way around, you still got to bring it back to the prophet's Message. Because I looked up this week what the word "keystone" meant. I didn't know what it meant in essence, and I done a little research on it. And I found out why Brother Branham used the word keystone. Because that's the last place that's plugged in an ark. The last place that's plugged is the keystone and the keystone has got to fit perfectly. And that's the last way of entrance into that. After that keystone is placed in there, there's no more entrance. It's over. It closes up the gap. No way else ‑‑ for nothing else to get in, brethren. And Brother Branham used the word keystone. It hit me like a brick. I said, "Keystone. Why did he use that word? He said it was the cornerstone, the foundation stone, and then it became the keystone." I said, "I got to find something on that."

It's all there children. It's all there. It wasn't Brother Branham; it was God Himself telling us things that we need to know. Alright, now John's having a problem.

Watch now! "These are they which came out of great tribulation." And I said immediately following this week’s message, this week’s study, we're going into a study on the tribulation. And we're not going to take a week, we're just going to take what we can... and do it with it. But you'll find out that there's great tribulation, great tribulation, great tribulation, great tribulation. So these are they that came out of great tribulation. Alright, that's no problem.

... AND HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES, AND MADE THEM WHITE

IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB.

THEREFORE ARE THEY BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD, AND SERVE HIM DAY AND NIGHT IN HIS TEMPLE: AND HE THAT SITTETH ON THE THRONE SHALL DWELL AMONG THEM.

Now it has been a trend of the people and has been kind of a teaching as it is come on down, that that is the remnant of the woman's seed that comes up through this last day tribulation. How many of you ever been taught that? Alright. It never would work for me. I've never taught it. You go back and find anywhere you want to, it's never worked for me. I've kept quiet on it like I did the thunders because I had to wait until He put the piece together. When He gets ready to put it together then it will come. Alright, and I believe He's put it together.

Now, let us go back here now on Paragraph 272 on the "Philadelphian Church Age," I want to read again. And he identifies this group of people here. He identifies them.

"THAT'S THEM POOR CREATURES BACK YONDER THAT DIED (AND THE LIONS EAT THEM UP,...)..."

Now you don't think that was a great tribulation?

Now you might have just read that so I won't go ahead and read it again. Alright. Now we're going to turn over now to Paragraph 280 of the same message, "The Philadelphian Church Age."

"THE ... NEW CHURCH IS THE GENTILE CHURCH, THE BRIDE. THE BRIDE IS A GENTILE, AND THE GENTILE HAS HIS NAME....”

The Gentile has His Name. Now I read that (remember?) in the 15th chapter of Acts. He took a people out of the Gentile for His Name. The Gentile has His Name. Alright.

"...HE TOOK A PEOPLE OUT OF THE GENTILES FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE. YOU BELIEVE THAT?"

"IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT, TURN TO ACTS 15:14..."

And he goes and he reads the same passage of Scripture that I read. Then, in Paragraph 284. And I made reference to this here a couple of weeks ago, two or three weeks ago, and placed a little emphasis on it, stopped and placed a little emphasis on it when I was reading in the Bible when we were talking about the future home. Alright, now listen. Here he comes back and he's speaking on the same little thought there.

"I BETTER LEAVE THAT ALONE, HADN'T I?..."

Alright, I'll read the passage of Scripture.

"...I'LL WRITE UPON HIM THE NEW NAME: ("I'll write

upon him the new name,") OF MY GOD,....WHICH IS THE

Remember me stopping there and taking a little moment and driving it home? Now let's let him drive it home. He said:

"I BETTER LEAVE THAT ALONE, HADN'T I? ALL RIGHT. NOTICE, 'HIM' THERE IS SINGULAR ...”

Alright, on a message titled "Jezebel Religion," on Page 11. And if you want to find out a prophecy where he declared (by prophecy) that this nation will worship a woman, Mary, read Page 12 and 13 of "Jezebel Religion." Alright, Paragraph 54:

"NOTICE, ON AND ON, GOD SENT MINISTERS, PERFORMED SIGNS AND WONDERS, PROVING HIS WORD. AND THE MOST OF THE THING A LOT OF MODERNISTIC CLERGYMEN TURNED IT DOWN AND ~ADE FUN OF EVERY REVIVAL. SUCH AS SO‑CALLED CHURCH OF CHRIST AND THEM, 'DAYS OF MIRACLES IS PAST.TRYING THEIR BEST TO SHUT IT OFF FROM THAT LITTLE REMNANT OF GOD...."

Not one time have we found anything different this morning than that the Called, the Elect is the remnant. Alright, we're going to move right on.

Alright, now you can go on and read on the next page. I didn't copy that one because I didn't think that it was enough there for me to carry over.

Alright, on a message "A True Sign Overlooked." That's quite a message: "A True Sign Overlooked," on Page 35, Paragraph 192:

"LET THE PEOPLE, LET THAT LITTLE FLOCK, THAT LITTLE REMNANT, THAT GOD WILL GIVE HIM, LET THAT LITTLE REMNANT GO TO CALLING OUT TO GOD AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS. THERE'LL BE A NATIONAL SHOWDOWN ......

I believe she's doing it. I believe right now she's beginning to call upon God. Amen.

"...THERE'LL BE A POWER THAT THEY NEVER SEEN BEFORE...."

They ‑‑ not the remnant. That little remnant will go to calling on God and it will enforce a national showdown. Alright.

"...THERE'LL BE A POWER THAT THEY NEVER SEEN BEFORE. TROUBLE OF IT IS, THIS TIME IT'S GOING TO BE TOO LATE FOR THEM..."

This time it's going to be too late for them. Who? Not the remnant. The church. Watch.

The keystone will be put in place. There'll be no way in. Alright.

"...SO REMEMBER, WE'RE AT THE END TIME. PRAY!"

"LOOK TODAY WHAT WE CALL MINISTRY. WHAT HAVE WE GOT? (NOW IN CLOSING I WANT TO SAY THIS.) WHAT HAVE WE GOT? WE'VE GOT NOTHING. SOME OF OUR GREATEST LEADERS, OUR GREATEST EVANGELISTS... That's something. Ten percent holding out a year. I took inventory. I looked back. I looked at the young people. And I looked to see how many has made their stand with the Word and how many we've lost. I've seen them come in and get stirred, you know, and shed tears. But I'm talking about the ones that sit and listen. Day after day, month after month they sit and listen. And I began to try to count how many we've lost. Not a one! Now you've got the drifters., remember. You've got them that come in and out, in and out. But I'm talking about them that come in and sit and listen to the Word. They don't run off out here in the world. You don't have to.... They don't go out and get all whooped

up, you know, and cut their hair and then come back and cry crocodile tears around the altar. No. They don't run out and get them a boyfriend on their arm, the girls, and the boys go out and get all whipped up with some little girl out there. No.

What's the difference? They've got the right diet. And if they got the right diet they grow on progressively. Just look around. Look at the young people of the other churches. I'm not trying to pinpoint the other churches. Look at it! We haven't had to call one case (by the grace of God) of dope among our people here that were sitting here professing to be Christians. We haven't had one case. You say, "Are you bragging on yourself?" No! I'm telling you the effects of God's Word is the same as it ever was. If you give God's Word, It will always do what It's always done. Amen! Not because Charlie Holmes is here, but it's because He's here. It's an ordained place. Some people don't believe that. But it is. Whether I'm here or not, the Word will be here. Now let's look.

"...WHEN EVEN NO FARTHER BACK THAT FINNEY..."

No farther back than Finney. That's just a short while. What? A hundred and something years ago? Less than two hundred years ago, I guess. I forget exactly when he come along. And ninety‑seven percent of them, Finney's converts, stayed right there. He lost only three percent. That's what I look at, brother and sister. That's what I.... That's the reason I'm not concerned in running you to the water. I want you to come and say, "Let's go to the water, because we've got to fulfill the Word." Then you'll stay right there. But if you want to do it because you're afraid you're going to go to hell if you don't do it, forget it!

"...PAUL HAD A HUNDRED PLUS HUNDREDS ‑‑ HUNDREDS PLUS HUNDREDS. ONE GOT SAVED, AND HE WAS SO FILLED, BROTHER, HE WENT AND TOLD SOMEBODY ELSE; HE TOLD SOMEBODY ELSE; AND HE TOLD SOMEBODY ELSE; (and it) WENT INTO THE MILLIONS. WHY? THEY HAD SOMETHING. THEY WERE ON THE WORD." ("They were on the Word.")

"TODAY WE JUST THINK ABOUT BIG CROWDS. (How many we can get, see.) WHAT IS IT? A POLITICAL ORGANIZATION. IF WE COME ‑‑ SOME GREAT EVANGELIST COME TO THE CITY, WHAT COMES FIRST? A BUNCH OF MAN. AND IF ... ALL THE METHODISTS, BAPTISTS, PRESBYTERIANS, ALL THEM, THEY MAKE UP A LITTLE SCORE THAT THEY...'HE CAN ONLY PREACH THIS; AND HE CAN'T PREACH THAT; AND HE CAN'T PREACH THIS; BUT HE CAN PREACH THAT .....”

As I got the notice, "Brother Holmes, we're having a minister's meeting, but we want all of them to leave their doctrine at home." I didn't go. And I won't next time. Because wherever I am the doctrine of the Father is there. And I went and talked to the brother that sent out the decree, and he acknowledged to me that he phrased it wrong. And he asked me to forgive him. I said, "Brother, I won't come next time. When you tell me to leave my doctrine at home you're telling me to take a part of what's me." But you see, they closed down the minister's meeting, and they did it because of the spoken Word only.

What did it do? The people that's professing to be in this Message kicked out the Son of Man. Now you interpret it the best way you can. You still want to go sit and listen to them, go ahead. They have no more life than the Baptist, the Methodist, the Presbyterian, or nobody else. No foolish virgins are going to be saved of that bunch. You're either on the Word or you're off of It. They don't like me. We have something in common ‑‑ I don't like their doctrine. Alright, now.

"....ALL THE METHODISTS, THE BAPTISTS, THE PRESBYTERIANS,..."

And so forth. He says, "One says you can preach this; you can preach this; you can't preach this; you can preach ‑‑ you can't preach this." Alright.

"WOMEN ‑‑ I'M TALKING ABOUT PENTECOSTALS ‑‑ WOMEN GO

IN THERE, UP TO THE ALTAR ... THEY BEGIN PLEADING..."

Women, run all over the altars. Up and down the aisles ‑- in Message churches ‑‑ screaming, speaking in tongues, prophesying and all of that. When the prophet said, "I do not believe in altar calls." He said, "It is not biblical." I was put on the carpet in the last meeting to have an altar call in which I had already said that we ... once it come, you know, then I preached a message, "Perfect Faith." You know, I brought a series of messages on perfect faith. And I said, "Now after this, we've made our stand, we don't care to lay on hands no more." Remember that? Alright. But it was called to my attention in the meeting, that there was some here that hadn't been taught that. They wanted to come around and have their hands laid on them. People like to do that because they get a feeling. They get a sensation. But that's no healing. That's no salvation. That's just a sensation. But sit there, open up the altar of your heart and let Jesus crawl up on the throne, the Word of the hour, then it's settled for once and eternity. Amen! Somebody's got to put in practice what the prophet preached.

On Page 47, Paragraph 247 of "A True Sign Overlooked."

"FALSE PROPHETS WILL SHOW FALSE SIGNS. BUT LOOK, TRUE

PROPHETS, THEY'LL STAY WITH THE WORD OF GOD. TRUE SIGNS

WILL BRING FORTH GOD'S TRUE WORD TO A TRUE CHURCH. AND

THE TRUE CHURCH WILL RECEIVE THE WORD AND REJOICE OVER IT...."

They won't be trying to figure out how to get this preacher out because he's sticking with the prophet's Message. They'll be rejoicing, saying, "Thank God we're getting the right diet!"

"...WHEN THE LITTLE FLOCK THAT WILL BE GIVEN IN THE LAST

DAYS, WHICH WILL BE A REMNANT OF THE GENTILES THAT'LL

BE CARRIED OVER..."

Carried over from what? The church ages.

"WHEN JESUS CAME THERE WASN'T A ‑‑ WASN'T BUT JUST A VERY FEW THERE THAT BELIEVED. JOHN'S LITTLE GROUP WAS THE ONE WHO BELIEVED. JESUS TAKEN THEM FROM THERE ON, MADE DISCIPLES OUT OF THEM AND WENT ON."

It had to be rejected. The keystone is actually the closing of the arch. That's what it is. That finishes it. That closes it.

You can't put a razor blade between those places. Now, in the last quote this morning is found in a message "Taking Sides with Jesus." If there's ever been a time when people need to take sides with Jesus it's now. Amen. You could take sides with Him in the days of John and He'd laugh at you if you did it today. You could take sides with Him in the days of Luther. It's no good. Take sides with Him in the days of Wesley, it's no good. Take sides with Him in the restoration of the gifts, it's no good. That won't get you nowhere, see. You cannot be a part of the remnant in that. You go with the minority, see, because after it comes to a... I mean go with the majority. After it comes to a majority, all of the reproach gets off of it. Then here they go nationwide, flying like crows eating carrion ‑‑ yesterday's manna. So, God pulls the remnant out. And He keeps feeding them fresh food, fresh manna, fresh kill.

I was reading the other day what Brother Branham said, "And the hawk which is a part of the eagle family had backslid and gone into apostasy and actually, don't kill his food no more. Too lazy," he said. He's talking about them lazy ungodly preachers that'll sit around and won't take the time to dig in and pray and stay on their face before God and get what that prophet said. They become a bunch of hawks instead of eagles. And he said, "They'll run around and wait until an automobile runs over a rabbit or a chicken or something. And after it's stayed there for a few days and got stale and carrion, they'll run out there and pick on that." Said, "He's not supposed to do that. He's supposed to be up yonder high, killing his own." But he's turned. He said, "He's turned soft."

They turn soft. A minister called me last night around 10:30 somewhere. He said, "Brother Holmes," he said, "I just wanted to call you. I know it's late, but I wanted to talk to you a minute." I said, "That's alright." He said, "I went by your place today and I picked up a few tapes." And he said.... He didn't know that I knew that. I knew that he had been by here because Brother Paul didn't let him have none until he called me and asked me, you know, if he could. And I told him, "Go ahead and let him have them."
