Absolutely everything God does pertains to His purpose and the revealing of that purpose brings it to pass. Unlike we do, God makes no wasted moves. All of His moves have a purpose.

When those martyrs suffered through giving their lives, God was revealing the seed going into the ground to die. Those saints didn’t do that within themselves. That was God expressing that through them.

So, why would God place man and woman under this covenant of one and many after the fall? Our human thought might be that God was setting up in heaven and He was looking down on man and woman and He got upset with woman for being deceived in the garden and said, “Well, I’ll just punish her. I’ll make man, her ruler.” But by the prophet's message we know that isn't true. We know He had to be revealing something about Himself even though it was His permissive will taking place.

The prophet told us something very special about God that we need to stop and look at for just a moment here.

God’s way of revealing HISSELF.

The prophet declares that God will only work in the earth through man. He will only declare and reveal Himself on earth through man. That doesn’t mean man as a male human being. He means man and woman together. So ever thing that God does in the male or female human has to reflect His great purpose and attributes. If He doesn’t, then God wasted effort for a show or entertainment, and we know that isn’t the case. Our God is perfect in every way. This didn’t change at the fall. God still had to reflect His great purpose and plan in man. Even if it was fallen man. The scripture says that He works ALL things together for good to them that loves Him.

So you see, God was to come through or be expressed through man. Just like He did in every prophet. The problem with our understanding of God so many times is that we place ourselves outside of God as an independent being.

We set ourselves against God or at odds with Him by thinking of ourselves as something different than God. If we are in His will then we are not any different and not independent of His purpose.

The truth is that if we have our lives surrendered to God then we are only God’s breath upon one another. God’s voice to one another. God's helping hand to one another. God expressing Himself. The place that God’s purpose on earth, at this time, is coming to pass.

So what does this have to do with marriage and divorce?

Well, if God puts woman under man and makes man her ruler, then He has to be showing something of His great purpose in Eve. This act has to reflect God expressing Himself.

We know that the prophet taught us, in the Marriage and Divorce message, that Eve was created outside of the original creation for a very specific reason. Remember that God doesn’t waste any moves and the prophet recognized the strangeness of creating a woman outside of the original creation.

Now, notice next the reason for being outside the original creation.

See, if God had created her in the original creation and then Satan could deceive an original creation of God, it would have displayed God as if He didn’t know how to protect and make his children.

But, Eve, Woman, being created outside of the original creation could be deceived. Adam in the original creation couldn’t be deceived. We’ll hit the spiritual side of that next week.

But now, stop and think a minute. If something had to fall for God to become the Savior then something outside the creation had to exist in order for Satan to come in and deceive and bring the fall! It couldn’t be any other part of the creation because it was all original. It had to be Eve!

God made her outside the creation as a weak and deceivable creation, so the fall might come, so that He could be Messiah.

So when you brothers in Christ look at your sisters in Christ you should realize the load they bear being made thus for God's great purpose. And you sisters when you look at your brothers should realize the burden of leadership place on the man for God's purpose. You are not a man because of your own choosing and she isn't a woman because of her own choosing. We are placed in these roles and others so that God's great purpose might be brought to pass.

So if you are given the leadership of a wife then you have a great responsibility to lead her before God. You should seek God for how to lead her just like the pastor seeks God to feed the sheep. Like it or not every husband is the spiritual leader of the family and if the man is not being the spiritual leader of the family then he is out of the will of God! We aren't given a wife for our purpose, but for God's purpose! Sisters, you aren't given a husband for your purpose, but for God's purpose!

We have established why God put woman under man in the natural. Next time we will look at an even greater part of the Word that came to us in the Marriage and Divorce message.
